OldMrCrow (3183) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2024
UPDATED: MAY 3, 2024 Finally got around to trying this one. Super good Italian pils with quite an assertive hop profile — not US microbrew over the top, but just assertive. Great stuff melding substance and drinkability.

Svesse (14240) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 29, 2023
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2023 (Bottle) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of white bread, hay, clover flowers and corn. Malty taste with bread, biscuits, flowers, herbs, citrus and a gentle herbal bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Soft, clean and crisp. Smooth and well balanced pilsener. Very nice.

KeefOz (3848) - TARRAGINDI, AUSTRALIA - DEC 21, 2023
UPDATED: DEC 21, 2023 Draught at Birrificio Italiano Milano. Poured a clear amber with 2cm of billowing bright white dense foam that rretained very well and laced well. Carbonation nil/flat. Aroma slightly of biscuity malt with hints of grassy hops and lemon, slightly sweet. Taste subtly of lemon, grassy hops and biscuity malt; quite hoppy compared to many pils; medium bitterness for a pils. Light body. Smooth, crisp, clean and dry with a medium-length finish.

Gurthnar (12243) - Bratislava, SLOVAKIA - OCT 17, 2023
UPDATED: OCT 17, 2023 Tap at Pohjala taproom. Rather thin body, medium carbonation. Not the cleanest and definitely not a top50 of any style. Medium bitterness, light grainy astringency, low sweetness. Neutral, but slightly estery appley, and yeasty. Average at best.

mcberko (41887) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 13, 2023
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2023 11.2 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden with a medium white head with long retention. Nose is fresh, with plenty of straw, gentle grassy hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is quite crisp, with plenty of bitter grassy hops, very crisp biscuity malt, and straw. Fairly bright, but not the hoppiest of pilsners out there (maybe due to age? This seems fresh though). Crisp, straw-like, biscuity finish. Certainly good, but I don't get the praise based on this one experience.

Pinball (14774) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 18, 2023
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2023 a little bit sweet grassy very smooth and well balanced pilsener aroma. Flavor is very good and crips pilsener with a good balance between the slightly sweet malty notes and the crisp bitterness.

tmoreau (9904) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUN 28, 2023
UPDATED: JUN 28, 2023 11.2 oz. bottle poured to fest stemware at home, showing a clear, golden hue, with sudsy, white froth, a persistent layer of film, and wavy cling to the lacing. The nose was malt/grain, Pils & light lager scent, grass, and slight lemon. Medium bodied, the taste was as the aroma notes, with decent carbonation, and rind-like, earthy, and peppery bitterness that lingered with some finishing dryness. Expressively hopped Pilsner.

jonas (14068) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2023
UPDATED: JUN 19, 2023 Bottle, Kihoskh funnily enough. Herbal, minty fresh nose. Golden, rocky offwhite head. Medium body, dry chewy, weeds, grass, fresh garden notes.

BeardedAvenger (7334) - New Haw, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2023
UPDATED: JUN 16, 2023 Bottle from Hogs Back Brewery Shop, Tongham. Aroma is floral, with dough, caramel and light spice. Clear dull gold. Thick foamy white head. Medium bitter. Woody. Herbal. Underlying caramel. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable Pils

elosop (1467) - Mölnlycke, SWEDEN - MAY 27, 2023
UPDATED: MAY 27, 2023 Dimmigt orangegul med tjockt vitt skum. Doftar lite malt. Smaken fylligt mjuk, lite söt, ganska besk. Eftersmaken lång med finstämd beska, någon sötma.
