slowrunner77 (19964) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 1, 2016
old rate - standard strongish hoppy and malty notes with a clean crisp bready component. Not too exciting, but not bad either.

Pour dark amber with a small quickly vanishing off white head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Bitter and sweet are the first things that I taste. The palate is nice it coats nicely.

Mild malziger Antrunk, etwas oxidiert. Süßlich, mit der Zeit malziger. Spritzig, wenig nussig.Getreidig, angenehm. 11/11/11/11/7/11

Butters (4067) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Sampled at the Richmond Gathering 20th! pours a clear copper amber with good tan head. Looks identical amongst all beers. Doughy and caramel and hoppy as hell on the aroma and flavor. It is VERY difficult to discern any noticeable difference. Perhaps this one is just a bit cleaner than the others? I really can’t just tell anything different here. The massive hopping pushes this into the DIPA category and i think the style masks any effects of the different yeasts.

tia (2232) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Bottle @ RG 20. Hazy carmel with foamy head. Smells slightly dryer but still caramelly and a little grapey. Tastes sweet then bitter with a slight sour hint. Light dry bitter finish.

3.8
Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Richmond 20th. Medium orange. Aroma is doughy, fruity. Flavor is a match, but perhaps drier on the finish than the others. Not bad.

2.2
HopTsing (575) - Sandston, Virginia, USA - JUN 9, 2013
From the bottled poured a cloudy, brownish brew with a white head. Aromas and flavors of malt, hops, and wood alcohol.
