4 oz sample. Pour looked like cola. Aroma was tart cherry, although my wife said it smelled like "rotten foot". I wanted to like it. Mild cherry and super tart, but not a lot of flavor under "tart". Just okay.

Interesting improvement on a boring style. Of course, very sessionable. Light weight with low carbonation. Dark brown with hints of mohagany and no head. Some wine character. Slight funk and sour fruit notes on a malty base. Low hop profile.

Rated from notes: had at a share. Pours a cloudy ruby red color with off-white head. Caramel malts and some cereal grains, bread, and very light dark fruit notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Not bad.

from Mikkeller & Friends - quite clear dark ruby-brown beer with a firm and long lasting beige foam; chocolatey aroma with notes of cherries and marzipan; modefrate malt body, light earthy and creamy palate, dry and fairly bitter; notes of mocha and sour cherries in the finish - deeply interesting

(Backlog) 750 mL bottle. The color is brownish red in color. Clear. Has a creamy tannish head. The smell is malts, bread rolls, slightly fruity esters, and ok. The taste is malts, nice flavor, seems bigger than 3.2, grains, and has a medium body.

Slightly Malty, with a slightly robust mouthfeel. Didn’t really have much going on in my opinion. Probably Jester Kings tamest beer. Isn’t awful, but nothing to get excited about.

750 ml bottle (notes). Pours a dark chestnut brown color with a small beige head. The aroma and flavor had some cocoa, earthy notes, mild funk, and some background light fruit character. Not bad for a 3.3 % beer, but not much to get excited about either.

FROTHINGSLOSH (15634) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 18, 2013
From the November 2013 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 750 ml brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color - almost black - with a huge fluffy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was Dr Pepper, fig and cola. The flavor was dryish, nutty, malty and bitter with a touch of wood and a bit of toasty malts. Medium length, dry, bitter, malty and nutty finish. Medium body. Meh.
