jmgreenuk (19386) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - APR 9, 2021
UPDATED: APR 9, 2021 330ml can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear golden colour with a short-lived frothy white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is malt, gluey toffee, light alcohol. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a rich malt, toffee, warm alcohol, light floral, alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2019 Strong presence of accolhol delivering a burning sensation. Taste: sourness, alcoholized, maltly & pear. Alcohol is a bit prevalent given the strength of this beer. Nice carbonation. Not too adjuncty. Basically , classic malt liquor sensation with a bit strong flavor. Appearance: Nice, even gold with a short-lived, soapy white head. Smell: Sweet cornbread, honey and dandelion with a hint of glue. Taste: Odd, with a bracing yet thin bitterness, a bit like tonic water. Malts (and adjuncts) have almost no character - just a touch of nondescript, rum-like sweetness. Alcohol is also prevalent - totally unnecessary for a beer of this strength. Mouthfeel: Moderate fizzy, as fizzy as club soda. This is acceptable at distracting from the taste, and rather refreshing. Drinkability: Clean and dry enough that you forget how bad it tastes between sips; keep the beer cold and your expectations low, and it's not bad at all.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2019 Bronze with a small head.Strong presence of alcohol producing a burning sensation. This is what happened to Carlsberg Special. Not a recommendation but at least its a beer from country that isn't that easy to add to your rate list.

Flat dark gold. No head. Sticky, plasticy, alcohol, basically all the classic malt liquor characteristics but a dull mess.

colui72 (4897) - Sassari, ITALY - DEC 22, 2016
Surprised by this beer. Smells and looks like the usual industrial lager, but tastes smooth and sweet, grassy, honey, lemon, without too much booze taste for its style.

TimE (8459) - Tokyo, JAPAN - NOV 26, 2016
Sweet corn grassy hoppy nose. Full body mainstream lager. Fairly sweet for what it is, but actually hides alcohol well. Not bad.

Koelschtrinker (28835) - Brewver-Town, GERMANY - NOV 2, 2016
Überraschend milder Antrunk mit hell herben Noten auf geringem Level. Spritzig, Nuancen von Honig, dann wieder etwas herber. Einfach süffig, nett. 8/7/8/7/5/8

minutemat (14673) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2016
640ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, March 16, many thanks to blackhaddock! Myanmar tick is in the bag. Pours clear gold, white head. Basically a smooth, lightly sweet lager with not a lot else going on. Dangerously drinkable, is this really 8%? Expected worse.
