willisread (7331) - Detroit, Michigan, USA - APR 19, 2018Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear orange copper with a finger of foam that lingers. Biscuity malt nose with light orange and dank resin. Thin and dry on the palate w/ some grass and stone fruit. Bitter, orange zest finish. More like a session IPA really.
HourGlass13 (1975) - North Carolina, USA - APR 3, 2018Pours a hazy orange color with a thin white head. Aroma has notes of citrus and grapefruit, good presence of resinous hops. Flavor is strong hop bitterness, some fruity rind notes. Lots of flavors coming together, not necessarily well.
kassner (2500) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 2, 2018On tap at pomodoras, dirty gold with modest head and some lacing. Small head start and pretty good
freekyp (3691) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - MAR 31, 2018An interesting hop bill is the draw here. Plenty of citrus and rind, some mintiness, some pine. Tropical notes rise as the fade increases. Malt backbone is there solely to support the prickly hop bill. Pours cloudy maize with a small ring of white head. Medium bodied with active carbonation. Tap at old town draught house in Greensboro NC.
Dacrza (1662) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - MAR 29, 2018DATE: March 28, 2018... OCCASION: Downton Abbey Wednesday before Spring Break... GLASSWARE: Stoudts pint... pours a handsome deep golden amber body with mild effervescence--misty but not opaque... its head is snow white, thick and creamy, with a nice, cirrus-like lacing... bright citrus--mango, grapefruit, pine cone, orange peel and spiciness present a richness that is promising... a bit more balanced than the bottle claims... the mouthfeel is more than agreeable, medium-bodied and substantial for a beer at 5.9%... a strong, palatably bitter profile, with the requisite mango, grapefruit, and orange, with the pine and flowery spices packing a soft punch... the back end is represented enough, with some caramel and toasted malts to sweeten the deal... the reason for this ale's existence is admirable, its taste smooth and pronounced--a lot packed into its relatively light body... this one is a pleasant ale that flirts with sessionability, working the hop aspect well enough to be a draft I'd select when I next visit the brewery....
bbbeer (1354) - Massachusetts, USA - JAN 26, 2018Cloudy brown-orange with large particles. Aroma grass, citrus. Medium body. Flavor is kind of a bland malty bitterness without much else going on. Could be a bad bottle but not sure, can re-rate if indicated.
alexsdad06 (17966) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 21, 2017Bottle at home from backlog notes. Pours an orange golden color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, citrus, resiny, dank hops, moderate bitterness, just ok.
