Danev76 (567) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 27, 2014Slightly stale aroma. Clear golden colour with good head. Fruity flavor with long finish. Light body with high carbonation.
Muggus69 (3694) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - FEB 23, 2014OLD NOTES OCT 14, 2003
Not really a remarkable pilsner by any means. Quite weak hop and malt character. Probably somewhat less offensive than most other Tooheys brews, but that says very little of it pedigree.
jdpeebs (682) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 19, 2012Bottle. Not a bad beer. It actually has a bit of flavour, not as hoppy as i would like, but a very drinkable beer.
michclark (88) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 28, 2011pretty good pilsner. Nice in appearance and flavour. Not a whole lot of excitement but still a passable drink.
crajun (1503) - , Texas, USA - JAN 15, 2011tasted recently at an Aussie beer tasting - outside of cooper stout, this was the best of the rest - and that is not much of a compliment - at least this had some body/palate, but don’t go out of your way
Lunkie (2594) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - AUG 13, 2010Hop malt aroma with smokeyness. Clear amber colour with poor head and lacing. Malt spice hop flavour. Smooth palate.
Dervock (1634) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 10, 2009Bottle - Pours a golden colour with a frothy white head. Not a very nice aroma, a mixture of boiled rice and cardboard! Starts of with a slight sweetness and then a vegetable thing. I notice they have dropped the saaz hops and the alcohol content to 4.5%. The last time I tried this it was much better.
mkel07 (10891) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 5, 2009345ml bottle. Clear and sparkling golden in colour with big bubbles that make up an average snowy head. Strong hop aroma and feels fresh and crisp in the mouth with a well balanced bitterness.
nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - JUN 7, 2009Bottle. Clear yellow with a tiny head that disappeared. Malt, vegetables and metallic notes. I’m not detecting any true saaz character in this beer. Poorly advertised and definitely not a pils in any shape or form. It doesn’t really fair much better as a lager either.
