FTA: a decent fortified lager. I was drinking when I was 16 during December 2000 cold frozen starry night. This must be ticked and noted.

This beer is all about sweet and sour malt and alcohol. In every way horrible disgusting! I’d rather drink pure alcohol than this beer!

I can see why this was $2 now. Clear golden colour, large head that carries a noticeably strong alcohol aroma. Taste is creamy, unbalanced malt character. and a taste that is strong in alcohol also.

Bottle in St. Petersburg. Clear golden color, thin head, aroma is malty and sweet, flavor is the same but the alcohol is perceptible, strong beer. Deep golden with tiny particles. Small head. Brief, sweet alcohol aroma. Grainy flavour with lots of alcohol. Harsh finish.

The best Russian beer/Malt Liquor I have ever had. It poured with a nice head, started sweet with a malty taste and slightly sour/bitter finish. I liked it on the 4th of July..

sweet honey and grain aroma. clear gold. small thin fizzy white head. sweet and tangy flavor. hint of citrus. some alcohol. very carbonated mouthfeel. hard to finish this one.

(bottle - 500 ml) Golden pour with a thick white head. Aroma is very light. What I could smell was corn, grass, bread, and some hops. The flavor is very sweet and malty at the front with a dry grain middle, some corn throughout, and a dry and slightly sour finish. Aftertaste is very bitter and sour. Thin-bodied with lots of alcohol present.

For a malt liquor, really not too bad. The flavor comes off fruity, perhaps artificially so, and reminded me predominantly of apples. Fairly strongly malty, it was more enjoyable than its low rating would suggest.
