Cask; Seasonal - Winter.
A light Christmas beer to give a change from the Christmas heavies with spiced hoppy flavours.
Barrie the brewer from the local Stationhouse Brewery in Frodsham, is using Northdown hops and Halcyon Malt.
Cask at the NWAF 2012, Manchester. Hazy orange with a medium off white head. Aroma has a good amount of malt character in my opinion, nice hoppage, some spice. Flavour is similar. Not my usual thing but quite enjoyed this.
Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 2012, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.
Light unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, spicy, spicy hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120118]
