UPDATED: JAN 1, 2024 33cl Bottle @ Epicura Craft Beer House, Coimbra, Portugal. Hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, citrus, slightly herbal. Taste is hops, citrus, grapefruit, herbs, slightly malty. Medium body, average carbonation.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2023 Blonde with intense sparkling and big head whipped egg white, persistent. Aromas of flowers and citrus, malt-bread, slight caramel. For a bitter-soft taste, biscuity malt with notes of caramel, dry fruits and especially citrus lemon-grapefruit-tropical fruits, with herbs and some resin. It's long, silky and that's good.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2023 500ml keg from O Botanista, Lisbon (€3.50): Medium amber & slightly hazy with a quarter cm, foamy white head covering the surface & holding well. Bitter pine hops & grapefruit notes, some lighter biscuit alongside citrus & earthy malts. The taste is a strong hoppy one with resinous pine flavours, dry stone fruits & citrus with a biscuit malt base & light tropical fruits at the end. The body is dry & sharp with a strong tang & lively carbonation, quite resinous with a lingering hop bitterness at the end too.

UPDATED: JUL 19, 2022 Bottle. Pours orange with whitehead. Aroma is of tropical fruit, caramel malt and citrusyhops. Body is medium and crisp. Taste is of herbal hops, bready malt and ripe fruit. Long astringent finish. Ok brew.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2021 Big foamy head with a hazy orange colour. Not an agressive IPA, with a touch of caramel and floral hopy flavours. Nice embassador of Portuguese beer!

33cl bottle at the 7 Wonders in Porto. I have a feeling that they are using British hops in this from UK hop merchants who believe the hops should be a bit cheesy by the time they are used. Hence an honestly made beer suffers.

Cor âmbar acobreada com leve turbidez e algum brilho; espuma marfim de altas formação e persistência com muito bom lacing. Aroma de caramelo e lúpulo resinoso. Sabor inicial de caramelo com final de amargor resinoso e levemente alcoólico; retrogosto adstringente. Corpo e carbonatação médios.
