Palme (5036) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 14, 2013
On tap @ Craft Beer Co, London. This is a pale yellow-light cloudy one with a dense small little head. The aroma is fantastic fruity with lots of grape and citrus, hops, yeasty zest and a hint of diacetyl-ish butterscotch. It’s thin bodied with a near watery texture and it’s average to soft carbonated. Good refreshing citrus flavors, some grapefruit juice. Leaving a dry and white-peppery tongue. Tasty and really refreshing! 19.07.2012

teorn88 (7739) - MACAU - AUG 28, 2012
On tap at CBC, London. It pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a nice frothy white head. Excellent lemony crispness and juicy fruit lead to wheat grain and the slightest banana ester. Light hops and tropical fruits on the nose. Light body with fluffy carbonation. Overall, refreshing and delicious.

Tap at Craft Beer Co - 11/08/12. Pale yellow in colour with a minimal head. Sour grapefruit nose and a little rustic earthiness. Tastes more lemon than the nose portrayed, other citrus fruits in the background, grass and straw. Clean refreshing finish.

On tap at Farmer’s Cabinet, Philly. Tempted to mock the pour size as quasi-Danish, but I digress. Decent appearance, faded gold with a nice head and moderate lacing. Dry hops and saison yeast in the nose, with not too much of a presence from the advertised peppercorns. Mouthfeel a bit too lively, which - combined with the corns, far more assertive to taste - makes things a bit antic. Decent saison overall, but nothing to write home about.

Nocturne (4091) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 7, 2012
Keg at Craft Beer Co., London. Orangey gold with a white head. I love the aroma, which packs in notes of lemon, lime, pineapple, spices and comes dangerously close to resembling those yellow urinal cakes at times, but it works. Taste has more of the same, and whilst being fairly light in body it avoids being watery. Highly drinkable and refreshing. Very impressive.

Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - AUG 2, 2012
draught@rzbierschof - cloudy pale orange beer under a huge long lasting white foam; pretty herbal aroma in the front with fair notes of citrus and peaches; medium-bodied; light tartness and a touch of bitterness; long fruity, estery and dusty fruity finish (citrus, grapefruit)

Farmer’s Cabinet, Philly tap ($6): Pours a slightly hazy gold with a big frothy white head. Aroma is farmhouse funk, pepper, and a bit of hops. Taste is very light. Flavours are very subtle. Finish is very peppery. Body is very light. Taste is pretty light. I thought that this was quite good, but this might be a bit too light for me, but I suppose that is the point of a Grisette.

On tap at Boilermaker. Pours a hazy light gold with white head. Aroma is citrusy and floral hops with mango, pineapple, and hints of pepper. Delicious hoppy flavors – pineapple, mango, citrus, with a little funk and pepper. Really solid

Leighton (33718) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 24, 2012
Tap at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours a lightly hazy, pale yellow with a fluffy, foamy white head. Smells gorgeous, moderately doughy malts giving way to light pepper, grapefruit, melon and pineapple. Sublime flavor, light to medium sweet with some light straw, tropical fruits, lemon, understated but enduring rindy citrus bitters. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean and perfectly fresh on the finish with more tropical fruits, very subtle peppery spice, a bit of hay. Balance is perfect. Sweetness is perfect, and there is just enough hop presence to keep you needing more. One of the top beers of the festival.

On tap at Farmer’s Cabinet in Philadelphia. Pours a slightly-hazy yellow color with a nice white head. The nose is fantastic with notes of citrus, tropical fruits, and light pepper. Very fruity and crisp. Floral hops come through and are quite fantastic. Really amazing blend plus a touch of pepper. Flavor is even better. The hop blend is fantastic. Loads of floral character with a touch of citrus. Light, crisp body with a light, smooth bitterness. Excellent beer.
