COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bier...

Pitch black color with light brown foam. Slightly roasted malty but shy smell. The taste is coffee and heavily roasted aromas with alcohol behind it to cover a slight watery taste. The aftertaste is dry with roasted coffee and chocolate aromas. A little bit too roasted for me, but a good beer nonetheless.

Very dark brown, almost black color; quickly dissipating tan head - aroma of roasted malt, coffee, hints of dark chocolate, roasted almonds and bread - slightly sweet and medium bitter taste - medium to full bod with a creamy texture and a rather soft carbonation - long, roasty finish.

Pindoc (121) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 1, 2014

Nice roasted malt profile. Creamy, smooth. Medium bodied. Good drinkability. Very good.

draught@Unterländer Biertage - almost black beer with a persistent dark beige foam; aroma of roasted coffee with notes of tar and licorice; moderate malt body; earthy and roasted finish, quite dry and gently bitter

Koelschtrinker (28835) - Brewver-Town, GERMANY - JUN 12, 2012
8/10/12/10//10
