Big bottle pour was dark, with some clarity, thin head that dissipates fairly quick. Aroma was milder than expected, even after warming to temp, some light coffee tones, roasty malts, a hint of pines. Taste was pleasing, a little hops bite, some choco-caramel, mild sweet sugars. I liked that this darker brew didn’t have that smokey, tobacco/cig taste that some have. Was very pleasing on the palate, very smooth finish, with a little alcohol hurrah. Going to finish this bottle with my t-bone about to come off the grill. A very good brew.

True to its description this sumptuous smelling beer comes on like roasted brown sugar, perhaps a hint of barley. Very little head in my pub glass out of the bomber. Its slightly sweet in the mouth with mild carbonation and a full body, but not syrup-y. Its a lot like Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar but without the Hazelnut. I highly enjoy this beer. It may replace the aforementioned brown ale as my favorite.

Poured this beer from a large bottle into a tulip glass to drink. It had a dark brown color, that could barely be seen through and a smaller, creamy tan head with good cling and modest retention. The beer had a malty caramel and nut scent with some brown sugar and grainy hops. The taste was somewhat sweet, toasty and malty but also had a good bit of bitterness too. It was a wet, creamy beer with low carbonation, and a filling mouthfeel.

Bomber. Certainly is brown enough... a nice stained mahogany color with a little bit of light coming through and a big sudsy head. Aromas are perfumy and sweet... almost a lilac like sweet floral edge to them, a bit of apples and sugar. Flavor is also a little odd... quite a bit of fruit and floral sweetness and then a bit of darkness in the back portion. Weird stuff...

Bottle - thanks odeed. Truely a brown pour with a large, creamy tan head. The aroma is rich with roastiness, chocolate, nuts, and toffee. The taste up front is aggressively hopped, even a little sour... finishs a little lighter with some roast and faint chocolate. No cohesion from initial sip to finish. Odd.

Pours ruby espresso with a very thin tan head. Nose is heavy with bread, biscuit and spent grain. Taste is brown sugar, bread, cocoa, molasses, and all flavors play very well together with a pleasant sticky mouthfeel..

22 oz bomber from Jonathan Ron. Poured a deep clear reddish/mahogany brown with an average size foamy beige head. Aroma had lots of chocolate, roasted malts, tootsie roll candy, nicely balanced between raosty and sweet. The flavor loses a lot of the roastiness and has far more sweetness, coffee, cheap milk chocolate, dirt. Nothing special here.

Bomber from the Bayou, drank with my man, Mikey. Pours a dark brown color with a large beige head. A sweet chocolate and nutty nose. Lots of nice toasted and sweet chocolate malts, sweet and easygoing. Very nice.
