UPDATED: DEC 11, 2022 Aus der Flasche (bbe 10.2025) im 2022-12 getrunken. Dieses Stout kommt gleich neben einem sehr kräftigen Schokoladenaroma mit eine feinen Fruchtsäure daher. Am Gaumen ist von der Frúchtsäure nichts mehr zu entdecken dafür dominiert hier das dunkle Schokoladen-Aroma was im Abgang sehr trocken wird und ein recht bitterer Geschmack zurück bleibt.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2022 Pas certain que ce Medical Stout vous remette d'aplomb et c'est un imperial stout raté que nous propose la Cavalera. Celui-ci sans intensité, sans présence en bouche, avec un alcool à 8,5 % mal contrôlé, une texture très fine et des arômes très particuliers n'a pas grand-chose pour elle. Et si le côté ludique de la bouteille de sirop est sympathique, je fus reconnaissant à la brasserie d'avoir limité la contenance à 20 cl. En verre nous sommes sur un noir total sans effervescence et sans mousse. Le nez est sur un cocktail particulier sur le café, la date, le raisin, le chocolat et la noisette. Mais en bouche cela devient très particulier. L'attaque est très aqueuse avec en rétro des arômes de plastique peu appréciables. La deuxième bouche est dans la continuité...on cherche alors les arômes de café ou chocolat. L'arrière bouche est sur un alcool particulièrement agressif pour son titrage. Le final est sans grand intérêt. Au moins, un médicament, quand il n'est pas bon, on se dit que cela va nous guérir. Ici, je ne vois pas d'intérêt.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2021 26-SEP-2021, bottle @Can Pastilla apartment. Black, low, lasting, tan head. Roast, herbs, licorice aroma. Taste the same. Eucaluptus. Very dry, bitter, soft carbonation. Strange. Would love to rate this much higher based on the medicinal bottle and the lable, but it is not all that good.

02-AUG-2015, bottle @Calafell, from BierCab Bottleshop. Black but Brown at the rim. No head, even when forced but clearly viscouos. Licorice sirup, ash, roast. Frull body, no carbonation. Funny bottle but content does not fully live up to expectations. Not bad though.

UPDATED: JUN 21, 2021 Sunday, June 20, 2021. Bottle, 20cL. Cough syrup bottle except the liquid is nearly black ! I loved the old fashioned cursive writing on the label (great idea !! +1 for appearance > 5 = 4 + 1 !) 8.5%. Purchase ('La Gargante', Parthenay (79), FR). Home. A very dark brown beer, nearly black beer with a small beige head ; short retention. Roasted cereal, black chocolate, soy sauce ?, light coffee. Light to medium dry refreshing bitter, sweet note, light umami (not 100% sure but yes there is this tomato tasty feeling). Good body, smooth texture, flat, roasted dry chocolate light refreshing finish. Overall, good, solid !

UPDATED: APR 17, 2021 De color rojizo, con una muy pequeña espuma de baja retención. Cuerpo medio y baja carbonatación. Aroma a malta, chocolate y regaliz. De sabor dulce, con textura aceitosa y un final algo seco.

ABV: 8.5%. Hazy light dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, caramel, dark malt, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20190929]
