ClarkVV (13457) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 22, 2022
UPDATED: DEC 22, 2022 750mL bottled Dec 2014, drunk 12/22/22. Clear, well-carbonated, nice, creamy, white head with a brass-lemon body. Even, well-aged, UNoxidized nose. Lol, how is this not oxidized after sitting warm on a shelf for God knows how long? Incredible. No oxidation, not even a bit. Soft, fruity esters and spicy phenols, nothing crude. Fruit leaves a trace of citrus but it's mostly gone by now. Clean, surprisingly no Brett. No alcohol. Soft, wheaty, clean, malty, dry, fruity, mild citrus and lots of clean esters. Still good acidity. No oxidation in flavor either. Wild. Well-done and interesting to see it without mixed culture.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2020 Upon opening, there were lots of very fragrant, caramel sweet tart Aromas wafting about the room with a little grapefruit. Flavors were similar to nose, less sweet and not as rich. Average body, strongly carbonated and a slightly bitter finish. Decent enough beer.
