UPDATED: MAY 3, 2024 2017 bottle pour at Open Roma, 5/3/24. Clear, medium amber. No head. Good bourbon alongside heavy bourbon in the nose. Rich malt, no booze. Less bourbon in flavor with a bit of alcohol burn and acidity to dry out the caramel. Not boozey. Rich, sweet. Lacks a bit of finesse.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2024 100mL bottle pour at Baladin Camden, pours a deep dark mahogany, no head. Aroma is decadent, with intense bourbon barrels, plenty of sherry-like oxidation, caramel, and some dark fruits. Flavour is extremely rich, with intense bourbon, lots of dark dried fruits, toffee, brown sugar, and a touch of smokiness. Very sweet, but not cloying. Remarkable stuff.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2024 W aromacie bardzo ciekawe nuty kojarzące się z opiekanymi ciasteczkami. Dość słodkie, do tego nuty owocowe. Nisko wysycone. W smaku bardzo przyjemne nuty. Jest sporo ciasteczek, czerwone owoce. Suszone owoce. Całość wychodzi bardzo przyjemnie.

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2024 31-DEC-2023, bottle (in a wooden box), from Eataly Roma. Dark mahogany with no head. Aroma is beautiful of whisky, smoke, nuts, caramel. Taste the same with brown sugar, soy. Too sweet. No carb. Very nice aroma but not all what I hoped for.

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2023 On tap. Pours a very dark mahogany with no head. Aromas of sugary nougat/caramel, boozy bourbon barrel, spice and toasted malts. Flavors of same. Quite sweet. A little sticky. Hot finish. Very good

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2023 Flat, sweetish and vinous with loads of figs, prunes, oak, vanilla, wood tobacco, toffee, syrup, hints of bourbon, caramel and oxidized notes. Intense and complex slow sipper dessert OMT. Still not the biggest fan of these, but this is probably the best

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2023 Bottled (bottle says 2015, had in 2019)@Beer Hunters, Pori. Deep amber colour with a small white head. Aromais wood, alcohol, vanilla and some toffee. Flavour is wooden, mild toffee, some spices and more wood. Not as good as the Kioke also had during this session.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2023 Butelka w Baladin Bologna. Wygląd - ciemnobursztynowa barwa, przechodząca w brunatną, bez piany. Aromat - dużo karmelu, trochę melasy, nieco sosu sojowego, beczka i torf wychodzą dopiero na drugim planie, nuty słone. Bardzo złożone i ciekawe. Smak - bardzo ułożone, słodkie, ale absolutnie nie ulepkowate, trochę drewnianych klimatów, nieco karmelu i melasy, nieco pinii, z orzechowym finiszem, czuć nuty szlachetnego alkoholu na języku, beczka wychodzi bardzo stonowanie na finiszu, lekko ściągające, garbnikowe, faktura oleista, bardzo gładka, wręcz jedwabista, alko w szlachetnej postaci fajnie grzeje w klatkę, nasycenia brak. Ogólnie bardzo złożone i mistrzowsko ułożone.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2023 Bottle sample at Open Baladin Rome. As XAYUYU Kentucky Riserva 2015. Dark amber mahogany color. Aroma of chocolate, prunes, raisins, tobacco, leather, bourbon, vanilla. Sweet, rich, full of flavors, raisins, molasses, bourbon, a bit smoky, umami, chocolate, vanilla. Full bodied, oily, rounded. Great stuff.
