UPDATED: DEC 10, 2019 Thanks Geisser to share this beer, at your flat, at Lausanne, Vigie, june 2018. You have a deep ans opaque black body with an average carbonation for the style, thin white foam. A standard stout, watery for the style, expecting more aromas, side of roasted malt, coffee, hop, simple andcacceptable.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2018 Dark brown beer with a nice beige head during.. Aromas of strong coffee, coffee grounds, caramel-licorice. The mouth is supple, the taste very roasted-coffee uncompromising. There is dark fruits, lactose sugar and licorice. But if you don't like coffee, let out all your hopes.

15/9/2018. Bottle from Hopsters, Ipswich. Pours thick, almost black with a dark brown head. Aroma of coffee, lactose, deep roasting, dark fruits, hazelnut and chocolate. Medium sweetness and medium to heavy roasted bitterness. Full bodied, extremely thick texture, and very soft carbonation. Really good, and definitely the thickest beer I've had for such a modest abv.

Keg at Draft House Hammersmith as Mad Hatter Nightmare On Bold Street. Opaque black with a foamy ring of light brown head. Aroma is liqueur chocolates, dark chocolate truffles and sweetened coffee, coffee liqueur. Nice. Body is fairly light and smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is, of course, coffee, little tangy plummy acidic, brown sugar, milky lactose and more fruity coffee. On the whole this is a pretty solid coffee beer. A touch thin bodied for me but good. Bitter coffee and roasted malts aromas, smooth texture and very strong coffee flavour with the sweetness of the lactose make this a great stout to try if you like your coffee strong.
