COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Summer of Love was fun they say, but now we’re living in the SUMMER OF LAGER! "Lager" means "to wait a wicked long time until it’s ready." We brewed it in the fall, aged it all winter, then sampled it in the spring. Then again, and again, until finally we decided to share. Hope you like it.

Cloudy gold pour with an off-white head and poor retention. Spotty lacing. Soft mouthfeel. Still hard to describe. Honey and bread mixed with light hops. Okay. More Dortmunder than Cech pilsner.

Can. Pours clear golden with large foamy white head, bread aroma, medium carbonation, mildly bitter malty taste, thin body, long malty finish. Not bad, but not as crisp as a Czech Pilsner as well.

Can in MV. Pours totally clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Crispy cereal aroma with a little straw, biscuits. Light sweet flavour with some grassy bitterness, more biscuity malts, a little crunchy cereal. Ligt bodied with averag carbonation. Clean finish, not too sweet, lightly drying, with moderate grassy bitterness, more crispy biscuits. Solid.

[bottle from Randolph, MA] Zesty and slightly spicy noble hops aroma with sweet Pilsner malt and honey. Fairly clear gold under a lasting white blanket. Flavour is quite bitter, but the bitterness is clean and fades to a zesty, lemony hops, held up by crackers spread with clover honey. Medium-light body, medium high carbonation, crisp.

ROGUE (2215) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - JUL 27, 2016
On tap at SLL tasting. Pours a golden straw color with a white head that dissipates slowly. Aroma is mostly cereal grains and a clean grassy aroma. A light citrusy note comes through on the end of the nose. This is all goes into a pretty nice flavor on the taste, with a clean grassy brightness that makes way to a lime zest like finish.

Draft at Logan location. Nice example of a Czech Pilsner. Soft malt aroma, plenty of body, smooth palate, slightly bitter hop lingering aftertaste. What you expect for the style.
