COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Before Sierra Nevada was a reality, our founders brewed beer at home and dreamed of building a brewery one day. Back then, they brewed the beers they wanted to drink—bold and full of flavor. Stouts had always been a favorite, so when we needed a big and rich beer to test out the brewing system at our fledgling brewery, stout was the obvious choice. Thirty years later, not much has changed. We’re still brewing the beers we want to drink and our classic Stout is the same as it’s ever been—big, rich, bold, black as night and filled with the wild-eyed passion of which dreams are made.
Yeast: Ale yeast
Bittering Hops: Bravo
Finishing Hops: Cascade, Yakima Golding
Malts: Two-row Pale, Munich, Caramel, Carafa, Black, Chocolate & Roasted Barley

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2024 Bottle. Almost black. Aroma: American hops with floral-citrus + coffee-burnt. Taste: dark and burnt malts + good hops, pleasant and tasty.

Klasični Stout , kava , crna čokolada , umjereno gorka i lagano slatkasta..
Ok Stoutek..... samo je malo više gaziran , ali treba ga pustiti da se malo zagrije pa polako dolazi na svoje..

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2021 Bottle, danke vielmals Günther! Darkest brown, low tanned cream. Flowery hop on honeyish malt nose. Medium to full, sweet roast body, plenty of perfume and honey, chocolate roast, light salt, coffee retronasal. Intense flavors, maybe not always pulling in the same direction.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2021 0.335l bottle. Thick dark colour with long lasting huge, stiff, fluffy beige head. Aroma: Caramel, matured chedar with quite spicey tones (nutmeg, cardamom) and a hint of chocolate, blackcurrant vibe. Taste: Full malty start with betutifully smooth rye-like sourish, and fruity/tarty vibe that flawlessly converts into an also smooth bitter mouthfeel. Very well balanced. Medium/full body with medium carbonation. Long lasting earthy and pleasent bitter finish.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2021 Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano impressioni di caffè, cioccolato e liquirizia. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore color marrone chiaro ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è come l'inchiostro nero. Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è medio in buon equilibrio con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul palato si attestano note di caramello, miele, cioccolato fondente, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca e agrumi.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2021 0.355 l bottle from Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Shared with PBFpivica. Dark brown, small beige head. Roasty, burnt, cardboard, hints of red fruit, metallic. Soft hoppy pine aroma. Flavour is caramel, roasty, fruity. Light, empty, medium body, dry finish. Average.

UPDATED: MAR 28, 2021 0.33 l bottle from Alko Lohja. Black, no head. Well, I'm glad that this has not the taste of burned barley, but insted the citrus flavors of American hops. Very American in that sense, but also very tasty.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2021 0,33l bottle. Pours black with tanned head. Roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. Nicely balanced, full-bodied. Really good.
