UPDATED: DEC 28, 2023 Draught@CBC2016. Reddish brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is raspberries, caramel, brett, some funk, yeast and quite tart elements. Flavour is sweetish sour with some berries, brett, funk, yeast and mild fruity and wooden tones too. Quite smooth, and hides the alcohol very well.

davidezdonz (1900) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - NOV 14, 2023
UPDATED: NOV 14, 2023 A 375ml bottle, bottled in December 2015, poured into a Tilquin stemmed glass. It was dark dark brown to black in colour with a one finger beige head that had pretty good retention and settled to a ring around the glass while leaving some lacing. Aromas tart, raspberry, raspberry seeds, jammy, wood, with a splash of balsamic vinegar. Tastes sour, tart, raspberry, oak, vinegar, with light caramel and whiskey notes. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, good aroma and flavours, and while the vinegar was perhaps on the edge, there was just enough sweetness to balance it out.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2022 Bottle at home. Four year old bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma of cherries, raspberries, brown sugar, balsamico vinegar and oak. Flavour of oak, citric acid, heather, cherries and raspberries. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a soft bitterness. Nice aroma and is quite sour in the mouth.

Gwilbreuf (385) - FRANCE - NOV 10, 2022
UPDATED: NOV 10, 2022 Robe noire. Nez très framboises. La bouche est dingue, très complexe, très acide pour démarrer puis on retrouve des notes de bretts, de barrique, de whisky et la framboise à gogo évidemment. C'est un poil vinaigré. Belle longueur. Une très belle quille.
