UPDATED: MAY 18, 2024 On tap at the Blarney Stone Pub in Bismark ND. Poured a dark brown with a tan head. Aromas of peanut butter and roasted malt. Decent flavors of the peanut butter , chocolate and roasted malt.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2024 Appearance: Pours a very dark brown body with an inch or two of beige foam up top. Scant lace. Smell: Given a pinch of cocoa powder atop the dark not-too-roasty malts. Peanut butter flavorin' drip. Damson plum fruitiness. Taste: Light cocoa, restrained light roastiness. Sweetness boosted by lactose. Touch of dark fruitiness. The added peanut butter flavoring is present albeit a tad weak, though I would prefer that over a strong artificial quality glaring through from a heavier handed addition. Earthy, subtly nutty finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-low carbonation. Overall: So-so.

UPDATED: JAN 19, 2023 1/18/23 - Brentwood, MO - Total Wine - 12 oz can. Dark brown pour, light off-white head, thin lacing. Top soil, generic peanut butter in the aroma. Flavor has some baker’s unsweetened chocolate, some store brand peanut butter, essence of topsoil. Thick enough mouthfeel. Pretty decent.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2022 From the brewer at Mountain Hops Brewhouse. Pours almost a pitch black with a small head of foam. Some decent lacing. The smell is pure peanut butter peanut butter, some roasted malt, but peanut butter is dominant. The taste is just like the smell. No deviation. It tastes like numerous peanut butter beers that I have had in the past. May Maybe fresher? The body is on the lighter side. Nice.

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2021 12oz bottle shared and consumed with virtual commonshawn. Snifter glass. Pours a cola brown. Aroma is roasty peanut butter...pretty inviting overall. Taste is relatively mild peanut butter. Mouthfeel is rather thin. Feels a bit one note...need some more creaminess. Not picking up much chocolate or malty notes other than that mild peanut. There are much better peanut butter porters out there.

UPDATED: JAN 15, 2021 Bottle enjoyed with virtual commonmac during album release session. Black with thick off white head. Light peanut butter roast nose. Taste is a little more sharp than expected, then with the peanut butter and light roast comes late. Balance was a little off, maybe near end of shelf life. Decent.
