2004 Bottle, 4.5-5.5%. Nice coffee aroma. Black colour, brown head. Nice creamy mouthfeel. High bitterness, like it should have IMO. Coffee, cream flavour, slightly sweet. Nice.

A pitch black beer with a residing brown head. The flavor is powerful with strong notes of chocolate, but also slightly acidic from roasted malt. The flavor has notes of chocolate and stored fruits, leading to a dry woody end. The mouthfeel is somewhat flat.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours completely black and opaque with a creamy, beige head. Burned, ashy nose. Medium body with very burned malts. I get an almost vinous touch here. Bitter finish. Very delicate. Thanks to Bov for this delicious beer. 130806

Bottle. Dark brown coloured with a beige head. Sweet and spicy aroma with notes of fruits. Flavour of caramel, spices and liquorice.

Bottle. Black colour with a big brown head. Light roasted malt, light coffee, chocolate aroma and taste. Medium body with a dry finish.

Very dark brown colour. Toasty aroma with light chocolate. Flavour is lightish with sheep cheese accents and toast. Fairly sweet, almost to the point of being candyish. Simplistic example.

Black color; brown head. Nice aroma, malt, rosted malt, yeast. Stout taste, strong mouthfeel, not bad but very raw.

Bottled. Dark black, brown head. Chocolatey malt aroma. Moderately sweet with notes of coffee and caramel. Medium bodied with soft, rounded mouthfeel and mild notes of liocorice in the finish. Well made and well balanced.

(bottle) Black with a small beige foam. Buttery chocolate aroma with notes of chocolate powder and sugar. Flavour of roasted coffee, mocha and butter. Chalky chocolately afteratse. Medium creamy body.
