Bottle at the Castle Tap in Reading. Well carbonated, red-brown with a creamy head. Nutty, dry, grainy. Tasted ’weird’. Smells like burnt plastic. I found this beer a bit of a slog to drink,

0.5 l bottle from ’P&M Getränke’, best before September 2017. Clear, very dark red with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, malty and rather yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, toasted nuts, overripe banana and clove. Quite sweet, malty, yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of caramel, dark honey, overripe banana, cloves and some raisins, followed by a short, slightly bitter, rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice one, pretty much like a Dunkelweizen.

Bottle from beermerchants. Copper brown color. Thin persistent white head. Taste is medium sweet, medium light bitter. Aroma is fruity, spicy, malty, herby.

06-08-16 / 500ml bottle on a hiking trip. Amber brown colour, lightly cloudy with small white head. Malty, medium sweet, medium carbonation. Some spicy tastes. Average.

Den smager virkelig af noget jeg ikke har smagt før. Smagen af rugen giver en helt speciel og fylde til øllet.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2016 From latiendadelacerveza. On Bavaria glass. Watching Silicon Valley 1x05. My first roggen. Reminds me a hefe but with more caramel flavor. Very drinkable and pleasant even being 2 months before BB date. Not much foam.
