UPDATED: AUG 14, 2020 Golden, clear, lots of carbonation, no foam. Smell of malt, yeast, bread, cereals and a bit of citrus. Taste is somehow bitter, with malt and some citrus like lemon. Refreshing, easy drinking. Aftertaste is a bit bitter.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2019 5.4%ABV. Helles Exportbier Poured out gold. 6°SRM. Nose has mild aromas of florality, hint of spicy hops. Clean beery, grainy aroma characteristic of a lager. Mouthfeel is light, carbonated. There is a defined mineral roundness that is reminiscent of sparkling mineral water. Palate has flavors of grain, plant, and mineral, all quite well balanced and and none predominating, although when first tasted cold, the hop character and bitterness was more pronounced and pushed me in the direction of calling this a German Pils. The grain character is soft without being too light, suggesting light wheat toast, and biscuits. Hop flavors are woody, minty when referencing spice, fresh herbs like oldenlandia, and with a soft grassy flavor and impression. Gentle and well-balanced, but a light sappy bitter comes through near the end and lingers in the finish. Finish is clean with a hint of dryness, but the hoppy sappy bitter lingers into the finish. Overall, a very balanced, mineral-bodied lager. Refreshing but still with some nice body without being two dimensional.

Keg at Spatenhaus, Munich in 2017. Clear mid golden with a white head. Aroma of bready malt, melon and straw. Flavour has light grassy hop notes, but primarily lager malt.

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2018 Bottle. Pours clear gold with a small, fizzy white head, short retention. Medium rich grainy sweet malt, light husky character, light earthy and spicy hops and light hop bitterness with a clean lager character and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation.

Clear golden with a decent white head. Fruity aroma. Taste is fruity, some sweetness, very little bitterness. Highly drinkable, good!
