Heldere gouden kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt mout, zoetig. Smaakt zoetig, kruiden.

Apart from the slightly vinegary, sour aftertaste this beer isn’t bad at all. Where most rose beers make me cringe of sweetness, this one doesn’t. Lot of red berries, slightly dry finish as well. Bottle from Burg Bieren in Ermelo.

DutchDrebus (6996) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUL 15, 2011
Draught @ OBM ’11. The colour was a bit like tea with milk. Smells like butter. Taste is water mixed with wort. Palate is quite light and slightly watery.

Countbeer (6586) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 4, 2011
Draught @ OBM’11: Small off white head on top of a murky light brown colored beer. Smell malts, herbs, mint, bread, yeast, butterscotch. Taste is a watery mix of malts, herbs, some hops and sweets. Sweet herby aftertaste. Low carbo, soft watery mouthfeel, low to medium body and a watery texture.

Benzai (20020) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 4, 2011
Hazy dark orange to brown color. Almost no smell. Very watery taste. Low body, low to medium carbonation.

Ungstrup (51382) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 1, 2010
Bottled. A hazy berry red beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of almonds and artificial cherry flavor. The flavor is sweet with a light acidic edge and primary notes of cherries, but also light notes of almonds.

fonefan (74136) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 3, 2009
Bottle 25cl.
Clear medium red color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to pink head. Aroma is cherry, marzipan, sweet. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090404]

Papsoe (25039) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2009
Bottle 25 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours an almost clear pink with a small off-white head. Fat and sweet cherry aroma. Light body, starts slightly tart but a cherry and almond sweetness takes over. Thankfully never cloyingly sweet though. 040409

MiP (20009) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 21, 2009
Bottle, 3.5%. Distinct marcipan, apricot pit, berry aroma. Hazy red colour. Very small pink head. The flavour is quite sweet and has some berry saftevand flavour. Some citric acid to balance, but there is still a little marcipan note that I do not like much.

2.5
yespr (55601) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 4, 2009
25 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden red with a pink head. Distinct cherry aroma, almondish and dense. Sweet, citric and cherry fruity flavoured. Not as almondish artificial flavoured as such. Medium dry cherry flavoured finish.
