(Bottle 75 cl) A bit unusual with a Witbier as a Christmas-beer. At least on my home turf we expect Christmas beers to be dark and malty. But this is an unusual "Biére Blanche". The colour is dark amber (like "fire" the label claims). Caramel flavours, but no sweetness. On the contrary this is very dry, almost citrusy-sour. Very refined and complex, but less accessible than most Witbiers. Interesting. 181297

Citrus, caramel, bubblegum and cheap brandy
nose.
Cloudy dark amber, no head.
Sweet peach flavors, caramel body, light peach aftertaste.
lightbodied, but pleasant.
This beer has really improved by waiting a bit, fresh Blanche de Noel is
almost completely indistinguishable from regular Blanche de Namur.
