UPDATED: JUL 2, 2023 Draught @ the brewpub, Schaffhausen. Pours cloudy bery dark brown with stable, creamy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with notes of caramel. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with sweetish notes of yeast and caramel malt, and sourish, grainy hints. Roasty and malty aftertaste with estery touches. Decent for the style.

Draught @ Zeughauskeller, Zürich. Rather sweet and heavy aroma with toffee, diacetyl and malt. Flavour has diacetyl, toffee, some malty tones and hibts of licorice. Not your typical schwartz, too much diacetyl here.
