Aroma is surprisingly strong, sweet malt and some hops. Flavor is sweet malt, balanced with certain bitterness and some acid. A hint of wet paper, but to really annoying. Decent bitter finish. Refreshing, smooth and actually quite OK.

The finish was magical. Though subtle, the hint of caramel malt is a nice distinguishing feature. Very easy on the stomach. By far Spain’s best in my experience. Personally, I found it more enjoyable when consumed straight from the bottle (this is how it was served to me, in nice establishments, on multiple occasions). imdownthepub (5259), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Bottled (very fancy), 330ml from Westholme Stores, Goring, Oxon. Yellow gold with white head. Initial aroma is wet sour fermenting grain, but on the first sip this disappears leading to a fairly basic lager body, some sweetness, grainy malt notes then an alcoholic overnote with hints of almond and resin. Never really gets going properly though, beyond the basic lager. Gravelle (100), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2009 Green 330ml bottle. Dark golden pour with a considerable, full sized white frothy head which is long lasting. Lots of clinging sticky lacing stuck on the glass. Smells pretty clean with a light grass hop scent. medium sweet malt character with bread and grain notes. Citrus hop accents, imparting a light lemon note to the brew. Some lemony and grassy aftertastes. Medium body, medium carbonation. Does not show its 6.4% strength and remainsa approachable and drinkable, and looks good in the process. thewolf (5960), Kolding, Denmark

Pours a nice, deep, clear golden with a big, frothy, off-white head. Mild aroma, light malts, caramel and soft grassy malts. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Flavour is rather sweet, light grassy, resiny hops. Light citric bitter finish with a bit of lemon-flavours. Quite drinkable. Cole (344), , Alberta, Canada
