Gangstergafje	3.8 Romein Gringel Bier The beer looks nice. The color of the beer is light amber. The beer is very clear. A lot of bubbles can be seen rising towards the top. It looks very wild. On top of the beer a nice layer of soft, rough white foam is formed. The foam is robust and stays on top of the beer for quite some time. The smell of the beer is nice. It isn’t to strong or special, but it is good. There is a mild bitter hop aroma and a strong sweet warming aroma of malts and alcohol. I also smell some aromas of almonds. It is a nice smell, but it doesn’t have a wow factor. The taste is nice. There is a nice strong sweetnes and a mild bitterness, both in good balance. All the aromas of the smell come back in the taste. It is nice. The palate is also good. The beer has a nice amount of carboxylation. A good beer it is. Saturday, November 12, 2016

Countbeer	3.5 Romein Gringel Bier Bottle: Thanks to Rudy! Medium vast thicker white head on top of a light hazy yellow orange colored beer. Looks crisp! Smell is yeasty with some fresh hops and fruit (peach and tangerine), light grass/hay, some clay and some hints of sweets and malts. Taste is a medium mix of yeast, hops, bitter, malts and fruit. The bitterness grows into the grassy/hay malty aftertaste. There is a nice yeasty and hoppy fruit touch (peach, orange), some hops/hay/grass and a lightly sweeter malt/barley touch. A good bitterness that grows and grows but still stays subtle. Low to medium carbo, soft with a light sparkling touch in the mouthfeel, a good medium body and a light creamy texture. The balance is pretty good and so seems the entire texture. This beer may lack something in it’s body but has a good bitterness and I am happy that there are no traces of glue or something sharp. Straling	3.2 Romein Gringel Bier On tap. Pours a murky yellow colour with a small size head and little carbonation. Aroma is very sweet, almost overwhelmingly sweet, however can detect some yeasty notes there too. Straling	2.8 Romein Alt On tap. Pours a dark and murky brown colour with little head or carbonation. Aroma is a slightly sweet fruity scent, with notes of yeast there. Flavour is almost like a typical "bruin" beer, a derivative made from pilsener byproducts in The Netherlands, yet it’s less sweet and more bitter, nice balance. Wednesday, January 4, 2012

maupie	3.2 Romein Gringel Bier After the beer was served in the glass there was found a tmperary quantity wall adhesive white foam collar which was fine and even of structure. The beer also contained not much carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a thick dark blond and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a spicy touch . Koelschtrinker	2.9 Romein Alt Fruchtig-hefiger Antrunk, in dem eine karamellige Note erschmeckt werden kann. Das ganze findet leider auf sehr niedriger Intensität statt und wird daher im Mittelteil augenblicklich wässrig. Hier ist die Malzigkeit nur noch erahnbar, das Bier wirkt unausgereift. Koelschtrinker	2.6 Romein Heelesj Blond Stark grasig-karamellig, scharf säuerlich im Geruch. Der Antrunk ist stark hopfig-bitter und scheint auf Frische ausgelegt. Die Hopfigkeit nimmt hierbei zu, der Hintergrund wird aber wässrig. Gerstig, frisch bitter bleibend. Im Abgang deutlich milder und nur noch wenig aromatisch. 10/8/9/8//8 Sunday, May 29, 2011
