o_Merlin_o	3.6 Colorado Cider Grasshop-ah Pours a honey color with an effervescent bright white head which quickly dissipates, but the cider is continually bubbling lightly. Aroma is of lemongrass and some sort of fruit (apples?). A quite interesting palate- it’s sweet as a cider beer is normally sweet, but it has a light hops flavoring as well. Pours no head, over a clear bubbly light yellow (SRM 2) body.....nose is light apple, lemon, lemongrass, no hops.......taste is lightly sweet with apple, lemon, tones, lemongrass, minimal malt tones, no hops......mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, high carbonation. Bitterbill	3.5 Colorado Cider Grasshop-ah Can, the date code baffles me. Pours a clear straw yellow with not much of a head of foam. Smells of semi tart apples, light lemongrass, basic but inviting. Lemongrass comes through more in the taste than the smell. Solid semi tart apples lead the way. Light body with light carbonation. A nice diversion from beer. Very tasty and refreshing. onceblind	1.9 Colorado Cider Little Cascara Clear deep honey golden with a thin bubbly white cap. Funky off nose with tones of honey and earthy must and just kinda weird old garbage smells. The flavor pops with an initial sweetness followed by honey and apple succulence but then this stale earthy tone comes in and dries it out to the bone. Just a weird melange of flavors. onceblind	2.2 Colorado Cider Molly's Barrel Aged Cider Clear translucent straw with the thinnest faint of a pinkish hue. Slightly vanilla woody aroma with light apple fruit kisses. Surprisingly light aroma. Smooth and soft body that's neither sweet or dry, just kinda flat and there, with a super light apple fruit tone and just...plain as hell. The flavor is quite unique -- a melange of wintergreen and cilantro, green apple skins, white grape and smooth red apple. Fairly dry, with lingering herbal quality. Really complex, tasty stuff. Ernest	1.4 Colorado Cider Pioneer Series - Newtown Pippin Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is very light yellow. Aroma is light notes of lemon cleaning product, ammonia, plastic, apple skin. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft/flat carbonation, lightly astringent. CO Cider sadly still seems unable to create a clean product...as with Crispin’s ciders, this one has obvious ammonia taint, along with other chemical notes, and precious little of anything enjoyable in the nose (barely even any apple). Unsurprisingly dirty aftertaste and a very light and watery mouthfeel. Almost no color. Imagine mixing 50 parts water, one part apple juice, and a little spritz of ammonia...then toss in some chunks of a plastic baggie and stir...that’s kinda the impression this gives.
