3.5 Geneva Lake Black Point Oatmeal Stout It’s good, though nothing special. Aroma and flavor are traditional and typical of the style: roast, toast malts, bittersweet cocoa. This is well balanced along with the texture which is perhaps just a touch thin and carbonation forced. Nice finish. Friday, August 12, 2016

3.2 Geneva Lake Weekender Wheat Bottle: Nearly clear, light amber with a white head. Very mild wheat, banana aroma. It has a light banan bread flavour...nice taste, but it doesn’t get big enough to really shine.... Good....but weak. Friday, August 12, 2016

3.2 Geneva Lake Imperial Cherry Stout Shared bomber poured to a 2006 GToM fest glass, displaying a fairly clear, dark brown color, with some ruby highlighting, brownish tan head foam, and dots & dashes of lacing. The nose was caramel-like sweetness, some mild roast & toast, a bit of cocoa, and a touch of dried fruit, but couldn’t distinguish any cherry yet. The taste then exposed cherry tartness in a medium body, with low carbonation, some sticky & syrupy texture, modest earthy bitterness, and somewhat hidden alcohol. Not very Stout-like or even Imperial to me. Sunday, July 24, 2016

3.2 Geneva Lake Imperial Cherry Stout Bomber. Poured deep brown with a short, creamy toasted tan head. The aroma picked up lots of cherry juice and toasted cocoa.. warm and a bit tart. The flavor found similar.. warm, roasted cocoa, molasses, and a touch of gingerbread at the core with cherry juice laced throughout.. finished a bit more tart, with cherries and belly warmth. Medium-bodied with an OK feel and flow on the palate.. low-ish carbonation.. OK stuff. Wednesday, March 23, 2016

1.9 Geneva Lake Implosion IPA On tap at GTMW 2015, thought it would be different on tap, but nope, huge sweet malt bomb with hardly no hops to it at all, more of a strong ale than anything, maybe a touch of hops, nah, that must of been the beer that was in this glass last time, drain pour.
