Only got one shire beer left. A Siren Mums the Word.

Just drinking a Runaway American Brown Ale from Manchester though, but it is excellent stuff.

What do people think of Runaway?

Don’t laugh - it’s sauna time, and I’ve set the thermostat for 94C, so radler = perfect.

Sauna’s and Shandy’s: are you sure you’re British?

<*))))))><

Britain - i’s that the country where they keep putting apo’strophe’s in all the wrong place’s?

Now heading down to Alkaen Mae’shire - Affligem /Cuvee/. Not ideal for a ’sauna beer at ’6.5%, but were out of weak ’shit now. Next ’se’s’sion there’ll be a 9% ’stout.

Half Eight Shire list: hope I haven’t missed anyone’s beers.

Cambs 4
Berks 2 (including Martins as yet undrunk one)
Lincs 3
Glous 2
Derbys 2
Ayr 1
Chester 1
Mont 1
W Yorks 1
N Yorks 1
Notts 1
Ox 1

12 Shires so far.

I am just about to crack open a Lanarkshire brew: Dark N’ Cloudy from Broughton. So another Scottish Shire joins the list.

Black olives if they’re cheap ones (esp. on pizza), green if they’re pricey ones.

Right the meze/mezze stuff is in the tupperware and in the fridge. I was worried the olive oil rich foods would make the beers a bit oily, but hoppy beers cut through the oil well.

Good evening Gentlemen. Just got back home from town after a few more Speedway stouts than planned. Just cracked open a bottle of Derby"shires" finest Thornbridge Saint Petersburg stout, going down splendidly after abit of a crazy afternoon/evening. Food accompaniment is a plethora of salarmi and cheeses with some nice Rugbrød.

Don’t think I will open my other shire beer until the end of the night. I have got three I’P’A’S and one D’I’P’A all from Kernel except one from Cloudwater.
