The code is printed on the bottle neck/shoulder, and the first three digits are the date on the Julian calendar (1 number of each day of the year, so Jan. 1st would be 001, December 31st would be 365). I think I’ll take them up on their offer to call them here soon and mention how I tend to prefer the Gregorian calendar when it comes to dates.

That being said, I don’t like the keeping it behind the counter thing either. Are you afraid you might actually sell something?
