Sadly the Seattle proposal is too far away from me geographically and too deep into the school year to consider (I teach college) and the June dates are during my trip to Ireland, so I shall abstain this time around! If I had to guess, the food and beer costs are relatively marginal compared to the amount needed to reserve the space. Really wish I could go to either gathering, but my calendar is not as friendly as I would have liked.
