I know this has been said several times now, but wow, there are a lot of really dreadful names in there. I really cannot fathom what would cause people to think some of those would ever be a good choice. Pondscum? Nothing makes me crave a beer more than daydreaming about some of that sweet, sweet pond scum. Decaying matter in a putrid, stagnant broth that would give you an epic case of diarrhea? Hell. Yes. Frankly, I’m disappointed that nobody has yet chosen to go for the Sewage Shack or Mucousworks. Good grief.

I happen to love that name for a brewery. It’s funny, interesting, vivid, memorable, and stands out in an increasingly crowded market. Unfortunately for me (but fortunately for you), I’m pessimistic that particular plan will ever come to fruition. Prove me wrong, Pondscum!
