Mr.Spooks	3.6 Chattanooga Bitter Resolution Pretty nice little stout, with notes of bittersweet chocolate, dark roast coffee, roast, and a hint of caramel, laced with cascara and a dry, bitter finish, maybe a little pine. Good pint. Monday, February 5, 2024
Mr.Spooks	3.9 Chattanooga Midnight Dominion Very clever idea to age a doppelbock in a rum barrel; the toffee and dark fruit notes of the bock meld effortlessly with the vanilla and dark sugar sweetness of the rum, paying off in waves of brûléed banana, vanilla, and spice cake. Finishes with a firm vein of oak balancing out the sweetness. Best beer I’ve had from CBC. Sunday, January 21, 2024

Mr.Spooks	2.8 Chattanooga Faultless Lager General no-frills lager, grainy and semisweet, with a toasted undertone and a little diacetyl around the edges. Finishes with a bit of white bread and lemon from the yeast and a gentle floral hop bite. It is what it is. Saturday, June 19, 2021

nearbeer	3.1 Chattanooga Wayne White Ale Pint, canned 01/16/2019. Mostly clear, golden brew with a ring and islands of bubbles. Nose is toast, caramel, lemon grass and a touch of orange zest. Flavor is more of the same, plus a hint of lime. Light bodied with too much explosive carbonation. A nice, hoppy-dry slant distinguishes this entry a bit in an otherwise forgettable style. The description says it's spiced, but there's no real trace of any holiday seasoning, which isn't a negative in my book. Doesn't taste like a friggin' Yankee Candle, which is all I really ask for in a Winter Warmer. Tasty. Monday, December 9, 2019

Cocoa and pumpernickel float around the edges, but the finish comes across watery and bland, undercut by metallic notes and hints of black tea. Not enough character for a solid American brown. Mr.Spooks	3.2 Chattanooga Wayne White Ale Straightforward American wheat ale, heavy on the grass with a husky graininess and backed by hints of clove, lemon, and pencil shavings. Mild herbal bitterness on the back end works well with the citrus notes, and the woody finish mixes with yeast for a white bread fade. Creamy texture makes for easy drinking. Not bad, but seems like a beer named after Wayne White should be some big, trippy, whacked-out shit. Monday, November 12, 2018
