imdownthepub	3.4 Byatt's Platinum Blonde Cask conditioned at the Oak, Warwick. Pale gold with white head. This proved to be a light, quite hoppy, citrusy beer. Clean and crisp on the palate, easy drinking. Pretty fair. Saturday, April 6, 2024
imdownthepub	2.9 Byatt's Amber Assassin Cask conditioned at the Old Post Office, Warwick, Warks. Amber with white head. Full on caramel bomb from the off, heavy, sweet initially. Becomes drier with more bitterness through the beer saving it a little. End okay but the initial flavour did me. Saturday, April 6, 2024
Martinsh	2.4 Byatt's Phoenix Bullion Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a golden yellow with a small foamy almost white head and excellent lacing. Not much of an aroma – just hints of floral hops. In the mouth it is slightly sweet but with metallic undertones and alcoholic strength much in evidence. Hops vary between traditional and floral and bitterness comes through later, along with hints of werthers original sweets and golden syrup. Finish is dry and somewhat sticky. Somewhat rough to say the least - not for me this one. Friday, March 8, 2024
dragnet101	3.1 Byatt's Vixen Cask at Briar Rose, Birmingham. Pours misted copper with small white head; good lacing. This one had a herbal bitter quality, quite malty, some stewed fruity tang. Drying finish. A bit average but fine. Friday, February 23, 2024
gazmod	3.5 Byatt's Tropical Delusion nice tropical fruit aroma. creamy mouthfeel. fruity taste with with a sharp almost piney note. decent citrus fruit taste to finish with. Bitter aftertaste but enjoyable despite the sharp edge. a good session ale. not too smooth despite the mouthfeel. still a good session ale even at the abv but I don't think I could have another one for a while Sunday, February 18, 2024
imdownthepub	3.3 Byatt's Gone Rogue Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Chestnut colour with cream head. This proved to be a soft, nutty beer from the off, malt led beer, quite smooth on the palate. There is a leafy, fruited hopped note. It's fine. Saturday, February 17, 2024

The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a smooth, malt, light citrus, herbal, big woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Friday, February 16, 2024
jmgreenuk	3.7 Byatt's Olizacca Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a very slightly golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt and citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, light toffee caramel, juicy mixed citrus fruits, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. I’m no big fan of cask IPA’s but this one packed a flavour punch. Friday, February 9, 2024
dragnet101	3.1 Byatt's Gone Rogue Cask at The White Swan, Solihull. Pours mahogany with smooth off white top. Quite a malty beer with some red fruit and a leafy hop. Smooth and easy to drink. To be honest it tasted like an average premium bitter so calling it a Red IPA is really pushing it. Sunday, February 4, 2024

imdownthepub	3.3 Byatt's Cosmic Jungle Cask conditioned at the Dudley Winter Ales Fayre '23, W.Mids. Gold with white head. This proved to be a dryish, malty bitter from the off. There is a flowery, floral character to it, I wrote both lychee and passion-fruit, made up with that!. It's fine. Saturday, November 25, 2023

dragnet101	3.5 Byatt's Hoplab Pale Ale V1.5 Can from Dragon Inn, Birmingham. Clear gold with big fluffy white head. Notes of wafer like malts, lime, grapefruit. Has a fresh sessionable quality to it with a nice soft mouthfeel although a touch high in frothy carbonation. Enjoyable though. Saturday, August 26, 2023
jjsint	3.4 Byatt's Olizacca Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Light to mid-gold, clear with a small uneven white head and considerable lacing. Light citrus aroma, some light malty notes but not a lot there. It comes more alive in the taste where the initial sweetness turns to a chalky bitter on the tongue. Light body, low carbonation. Theydon_Bois	3.3 Byatt's Mahana IPA Cask at GBBF'23, day one, 01/08/23. Almost clear golden with an off white cap that clears to edgework. Nose is stewed fruits, grass, citric peel, melon. Taste comprises orange zest, faint pine, melon, grass, light breads. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. Passable IPA. Monday, August 7, 2023

Martinsh	2.9 Byatt's Mystic Wolf Cask at Shrewsbury Arms, Stafford. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. There’s floral hops in the aroma along with some hints of citrus. In the mouth its very briefly sweet at the start, before citrus sharpness takes over, with some underlying caramel sweetness. Flavours of floral hops and mango then come through, plus some traces of pine. Finish is dry and slightly sweet. It’s OK – nothing special. Friday, February 17, 2023
