60minuteman	1.7 Kalik Got it on draft at the Bearded Clam in Nassau. It looks crisp and it is quite refrshing but it fails to excite in any way. Zesty malt undertones give it a highlight but overall it is bland and corny. Saturday, August 19, 2023

cheap	2.2 Kalik Gold Bottle from total wine & more in st peat. Clear 12 ounce bottle, if you round it up. A little bit of bitter bite up front. Taste is a little more than I expected, considering the original kalik's behavior. Yes, some astringent aftertaste following each gulp. Yes, a little personality. Not bad for a lager, funny its rated as a malt liquor, its more like a premium lager. Kalik gold malt likker, pretty funny, I didn't know they made malt likker in euro countries! Flavour is maize, grains, some strong sweetness with a strange dry cardboardy thing to it. Maybe good in the heat of the caribbean, but not very refreshing in the Finish autumn. Nice mango/citrus aroma. Not too cloying. Sweet mango fruit juice flavor. Sweet, but not too sweet. A tasty alternative for non-beer friends. No beer flavor here. Alcopop with very little alcohol. Brigadier	2.1 Kalik Gold 12 ounce bottle This is little more than a new country tick. Thanks to a generous trader for the bottle but unless you've got no access to cocktails while at the beach give this one a hard pass. Otherwise alter your expectations accordingly. AROMA / APPEARANCE The faint golden body rests under a lean white head. From within from grainy adjuncts, stale bread, and a generally unappealing aroma that the lay person would describe as "beer". FLAVOR / PALATE Almonds, cereal, and two day old stale bread fills the mouth with a bland experience. The profile verges on offputting though thankfully this particular bottle did not seem to suffer from any infections or other issues. The lifeless mouthfeel dies just seconds after entering the throat. This should be purchased as a single if you must get the rate. Saturday, April 20, 2019

As someone who does not care for beer that much I drank this several times at Paradise Island in Bahamas, brought home two cans I bought in the airport. PintChamp31	3.4 Kalik Gold The high rating is due to the experience. I had this beer while on vacation in Nassau, Bahamas. It was warm and rainy and we sat outside on the beach and danced all night and sang karaoke. I had 3 or 4 of these and felt like I was having the time of my life with my family. I bought two packs of these to take home at the Duty Free at the airport for only $30 Bahamian dollars. I still have one can left for a special occasion. Planning to go to Florida just to get more. It’s a watery tasting beer with buttery flavor that masks the high alcohol content. Can’t complain. Thursday, January 10, 2019
