La carbonazione è abbondante. Il liquido è di apparenza offuscata. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. Il colore è ambrato carico tendente marrone. Il corpo è strutturato e robusto, sembra di bere un vino Porto leggermente frizzante. L'amaro è contenuto. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevolissimo. Le sensazioni boccali che permangono sfociano in un finale di pericolosa beverinità. Il finale è lungo, pulito e complesso. Il gusto è piacevolissimo. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di pericolosa beverinità e assolutamente da bere. Il finale è lungo, pulito e complesso. Il retrogusto è intenso. 3fourths	3.6 Stavio Don Zaucher Draft. Burnt orange and clear with a stiff off-white head. Salty and smoky and fatty and meaty aroma that resembles prosciutto, and the orange peel doesn’t show up for me until it warms and breathes a little more, and the orange aroma seems almost hop-derived like Cascade, rather than from dried peel. Medium bodied, lightly sweet, bitterness is moderate to low, malt is rich and sticky and filling, finish is salty and toasty and meaty... everything plays well together. It’s clean, ingredients are expressed well, and the orange peel is complimentary. It’s not as minerally as the Heller Bock but still reminds me of succulent Franconian Rauchbier. 3fourths	3.6 Stavio Hell Pantoffel Draft. Clear honey gold with a lasting white head. Expressive honey-malt aroma is mineral-forward and lightly toasty and seems close to Franconian in character. Malt is expressed as salty baked baguette, hops are noble-like lemon and herbs, and there’s an oyster shell and sea salt minerality that is carried through the mouth by rich and savory melanoidins.
