Braudog	3.9 Pelican Beak Breaker Double IPA Draft at the brewpub in Pacific City and then in bottles. Lighter amber color, sticky head. Big hop aroma. Somewhat of a sticky character, more so in the bottle than on tap at the source, interestingly. At the brewpub, I thought this fairly light for a 9%er. Out of the bottle, this seems more viscous and more what you'd expect from a higher ABV beer. Either way, it's a great beer. (#8847, 5/2024) Wednesday, May 8, 2024

raphael	3.6 Pelican Beak Breaker Tropical Double IPA Smell like someone put his pine into the fruit salad, not that bad a mix and balanced. Unusual but not bad. Flavorwise there’s a dull bitterness at the bottom, a thin fruit fluff at the top, indistinct at both ends, alcohol hidden, numbing on the tongue tip. Carrying through into a numb/vague finish. Reid	3.6 Pelican Beach Beer 6 pack of 16 ozers . Purchased from Safeway in West Salem OR Bargain price of $7.99 Pours a clear yellow body with a good sized frothy white head. Good clingy lace. Aroma mainly thin floral hops and biscuit malts. Simple but fine enough. Taste? malts dominate. But some floral hops in the back. And that's about it. very simplistic. Mouth feel is actually not as thin as expected and has some body. Good non sticky end. Overall a good beer for drinking in quantity up by Cape Kiwanda! Saturday, April 27, 2024
mice	3.5 Pelican Tsunami Stout 0,33l bottle from J&B Craft Drinks online store. Bbe 02.08.17, 2016 vintage. Almost black beer with quite small, totally vanishing head. Aroma has malts, roasted notes, caramel and some coffee. Flavor follows. Malty, quite sweet and smooth, some coffee but more like Coca Cola. Friday, April 26, 2024
Travlr	4 Pelican Cider Draft at their Tillamook brewery. Barman said they make this one on site and just started doing so. Cloudy pale yellow color rate bubbles. Aroma of light apple skins subtle peachy esters. Taste is lightly tart apple flesh. Dry finish. A very respectable dry cider. Monday, April 22, 2024

Aroma brings out some tart dark cherries, a little vanilla, and a touch of oak -- this smells borderline infected. Flavour has some sour cherries, whiskey barrels, oak, and a touch of vanilla. Reid	3.8 Pelican Hoppa Don't Preach 12 oz can from a six pack purchased from Plaid Pantry on Wallace, West Salem $10.99 06/16/23.so a little over 5 weeks old. Pours a darker PNW IPA gold/amber with a lovely thick and frothy off white head. Strange aroma..pleasant but not very hoppy. Strawberries, melon etc.. Nice but not expected. Taste starts of the same then getting a wee bit of Ye Ole Oregon dank. But still mixed with the strawberries, melons and lychee. It all balance out in the end to a pretty cool flavor. mouth feel is above average for this style of IPA. A very odd IPA but I like it. (turns out it wasn't strawberry I was tasting but blackberry according to Pelican's blurb) Sunday, October 29, 2023
