beastiefan2k	3.4 Yards Gold 12oz bottle. Dark gold to light copper color. Surprisingly darker than the name suggests. Clear beer. Looks to be completely filtered. This beer reminds me of another beer I had man moons ago. It was an English styled tripel. So, it was strong and malty but had the characteristics of an English yeast and English malts but yet somehow not an olde ale or barleywine or anything actually traditionally English. It’s clean for any style, it’s dusty malts in many ways and sweet but not like a Belgian or an English. I don’t hate it, I’ll remember it but I’m unlikely to try it again. Wednesday, March 13, 2024

BillWyce	2.9 Yards Gold Can from the brewery. Pours clear amber color with a 1-finger white head. Honey-sweet aroma mixed with fruity notes. Full-bodied with a bit of syrupy thickness. sloth	2.2 Yards Bit Viper small white head, fair retention, little lace. Hazy blond white appearance. Mild nose, citrus, clementine pith, weird. Body is light, light carbo, gets thinner as you go. Watered down citrus flavors, navel and clementine, some kind of burnt candy sugars er something? Dry, citrus-esque finish, not bitter. Been a long time since I've had a Yards BC product and this brings back some bad memories as to why. cheap	2.1 Yards Gold So this is a new variation on the old Jefferson eh? Pour is clear gold pale. Nose is that of some volatile mild canned cream corn. Taste is a little ruff up front. Reminds me quite a bit of some of those cheap maro ice beers. Some decent mild carbonation. Somewhat sweet, perhaps bordering a little on cloying. Getting a kindah more difficult in the middle. It's somewhat more viscous than the Jefferson Ale fer sher. Seems to be putting a kibosh feeling on my noggin towards the end. Finishes with a stronger boozy ale bite. Thursday, January 11, 2024
