Granite City Batch 1,000 3.4
Batch 1000 is an easy drinking version of a DIPA. The nose come across as very fresh with sugary orange and pineapple, and light pine resin. An ample sweet malt backbone is tempered with bittering hops that depart cleanly in a flavorful finish that doesnít leave a lot of residual bitterness, but rather a pleasant light sweet fruitiness. Pours light caramel color with a 1 finger white head. Its not trying to armwrestle other bigger DIPAs and it doesnít have to. This is a one for the hop heads who have realized that 100 IBU juggernauts are not always the best approach.

Granite City The Northern 2

Granite City The Duke 3
A well balanced pale, The Duke starts with a citrus hoppy nose with light caramel malt tones. Not a lot of bitterness, but a lot of fruity hop character with a lasting finish. Pours light copper with a wispy off-white head.

freekyp
Granite City Brother Benedicts Mai Bock 2.6
A very earthy version of a bock with some powdery chocolate character and very littel maltiness. This one came across like an average brown ale excepting the copper penny noble twang finish.

freekyp
Granite City Prairie Vixen 3.9
A well brewed hefeweizen that plays up ripe banana and bubblegum in both flavor and aroma. Fruity throughout with a clean banana juicy finish. Clove character is way in the background. A pretty beer, Prairie Vixen pours a heaviily hazy maize color and sports a thick dollop of pure white head, and plenty of lacing.

Granite City Ole Bessie 4.1
A fantastic take on this difficult-to-master style, Ole Bessie is a perfect cream ale. Light fruity and grassy notes are carried forward by a perfect light malt backbone that is both light and packed with flavor at the same time. At 5.3%, its on the cusp of being sessionable, and pairs well with most pub grub. Pours a clear crisp golden with a big fat creamy pure white had that leaves swaths of lacing. Its both creamy and light in body.

Granite City Broad Axe Stout 2.9

SoDakBrew
Granite City Ole Bessie 3.3
Heavy cream like head, light on the palate but with a good hoppy finish. Nitrogen brewed for a clean overall taste. Color is a cloudy straw. Seems like a good early spring beer for April or May. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
