Flavor is sweet caramel and cookie malt, spicy alcohol, Sherry oxidation notes, light earthy hops and bitterness with dark fruits and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation. SHIG	4.1 Sleeping Lady XV Anniversary Draft: Poured a deep black with bubble head. Aroma was boozy and dark fruit. Strong black currents that mixed well with the boozy whiskey and malt backbone. Was extremely glad to try this one especially on the brewers personal taps in the brewery. Sunday, December 27, 2015
SHIG	4 Sleeping Lady Barleywine (Barrel Aged) Draft: Poured a amber color with an off white head. Aroma was boozy, vanilla and caramel. Taste is sticky sweet booze with vanilla, and very nice warm sipping attributes. Thursday, December 24, 2015

rondphoto	2 Sleeping Lady Portage Porter on tap @ Snow Goose / Anchorage AK --- This review should be taken with a "grain of salt," because I suspect that either the lines weren’t cleaned properly today, or the batch is beginning to turn. I looked over the other reviews and they have a consensus of impressions that don’t sync with mine. For me, taste begins with semi-sweet malt that grows awkwardly into cedar and a bit of dark fruit, then abandons everything by completly shutting out hops in a finish that continually grows sweeter and more woody. Taste is caramel malt that is quickly invaded by assertive pine hops. Even though the hops are solid, the malt will not be denied, and hangs in through a medium finish. A keeper. rondphoto	2.9 Sleeping Lady Gold Rush Golden Ale on tap @ Snow Goose / Anchorage AK --- Clear straw amber color, white rim head, big cobwebs of lace. Taste is somewhat tart malt that becomes fizzy in the swallow, then adds light hops to finish. A little thin, but definitely has flavor as well as some complexity. Add to that a "sneaky-long" finish, and it’s serviceable. Monday, June 15, 2015

Taste is fizzy sweet malt that grows substantially through a swallow that glides without incident to a finish that only suggests hops. A reasonable brew, even though it is pretty much "one-trick."
