Aroma has sweet dark grains with a bit of chocolate and a bit of biscuit. Flavor is similar with some sweet dark grain but is mainly thin with a hint of biscuit. Sunday, March 2, 2014

Aroma has a notes of sweet grains and biscuit with a bit of grass backing. Flavor is similar with lots of sweet grains and biscuit, not as much grass, as well as a thin finish. Sunday, March 2, 2014

kevinator	2.2 Belle Isle Oktoberfest This was like an Oktoberfest light. Faint aroma of Munich-type malts and water. Light weight palate with good carbonation but a little watery. The color was an orange-copper color with a 1-finger head. The most I can say is that it tasted like a dumbed-down version of an Oktoberfest beer. Malty without much hops presence. kevinator	2.7 Belle Isle Pumpkin Pretty average beer. It tasted like a pale ale with pumpkin added. The aroma was subtle pumpkin, which was more of the gourd variety than the pie. Light coppery orange color with a small head. Average weight on the palate with good carbonation. The flavors were not strong with a faint pumpkin flavor and hops bitterness up front. This needed a jolt of flavor. Tasted like a pale malt background with flavoring. Not exciting. Wednesday, December 18, 2013

Aroma has a really musty wheat note with a good amount of earthiness and just a hint of raspberry. Flavor has same very earthy wheat note with a touch of raspberry but quite watery. The color is a coffee brown with a thin head courtesy of the bartender. The flavors are of roasted malt and some chocolate but need to be amped up a bit. kevinator	2 Belle Isle Frozen Finger IPA Yeah, no. This was an IPA wannabe. From what I understand, brewpubs in OK are limited to a very low ABV. This explains why the beer was significantly lacking. Very little aroma with a slight whiff of hops. The color was a light golden with a small white head. The palate was watery and light. This would normally fall into a pale ale category but whatever. Slight grainy taste with a small hops bitterness on the finish. This needed a lot more of everything. Monday, August 26, 2013
