Odell Prop! Culture
Bottle. It poured a cloudy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of yeast, bananas, some pears and citrus. The taste was similar to the aroma with more yeast, bananas, citrus, spices with a nice light finish. Pretty tasty.

Odell Cutthroat Porter
A well done porter. Probably of the better I have had. I can here for iOS I believe in the porter. Sweet light smoke and good earthy hop balance. Great flavor. Wow. Aroma is but smoke and caramel. Light hop bite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Odell Myrcenary Double India Pale Ale
Never had a beer like this flavor reminds me of the smell of a bicycle shop. Strange? Yes. But that is where I was taken. The chain oil fresh plastic and leather seat and fresh machined smell. Unique. Leaves a unique tropical fruit less citrus on your tongue. Papaya pulp. Nice mouthfeel. Fix the aroma. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Odell India Pale Ale (IPA)
I thought this would be a destination beer. A nice balanced IPA easy drinking but can't say it knocks off feet or seems unique. Light citrus and lemon. It's a New Zealand beer with American hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Odell Zard-Alu
750ml corked and caged. 20990-16 on the label. Whatever that means besides 2016. It’s a hazy apricot colour with an inch of foam. Smells of Brett, apricot and peaches; that’s the tart side. I notice a bit of a fruity sweetness. .. Not entirely sweet that other fruit. More of a neutral vs the apricots and peaches. The Brett is more subdued than the smell suggested. Nice user friendly level of the sour. Fairly light bodied with mild carbonation. Nice beer.

Odell / Verboten Ignorance Is Bliss
Boozy, roasty aroma. Poured a deep brown in color with a nice tan head. Taste is sticky-sweet, with chocolate-boozy overtones. High ABV gives it a nice warming quality going down. Excellent beer! Notes: On tap at the Denver Rare Beer Tasting ’15

Odell Hop Shop
Odell’s single-hop Pale Ale captures both the juicy and dank characteristics of Mosaic, which is a lovely thing. Gold color and snowy suds. Lemongrass and tropical fruit notes. Some subtle melon and berry. Oily and sticky sweet finish. Overall, very balanced. There is bitterness but it doesn’t run wild. This does Mosaic proud.

Odell Splice
Pint at the Bikr Cafe. This is hazy gold with a tall, everlasting white head. The aroma packs a potent, juicy hoppiness. Convincing suggestions of tangerines form. The body is satisfying for the lower gravity. No real caranel malt sweetness is here. Bitterness is pretty low while hop aroma and flavor are high. It doesn’t finish too dry. This is like juice but still certainly beery, moreso than some other IPAs on the market.

Odell The Meddler Oud Bruin
750mL bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small white head. Aroma brings out Worcestershire sauce, balsamic, acidity and wood. Flavour brings out lots of tannins and red wine barrels, followed by some balsamic, a touch of sweetness and light acidity. Very tannic and earthy. Unusual and doesn’t really come together.

Odell Fernet-Aged Porter
August 16th, 2014 - In retrospect, this bottle was absolutely lost on me. I had not yet tried Fernet, alter introduced to me by an Argentinian friend, so I didn’t know what to expect, nor could I appreciate how the fernet may or may not manifest itself here. The brew is a dark, wet wood brown, but it is hard to see past the clot of foam kicking up a fuss out of the glass, erupting like a golden ale, and settling into a solid, self-supporting blob, like cooled magma. The aroma from the foam, and with some excavation the brew itself, is pungently herbal. Leafy greens, spinach, jasmine, lavender, sage and rose are all present, giving off a powerful botanical effect, which I would later learn is the attractive essence and appeal to fernet. The body has a good weight, with a low and slow carbonation, and an alcohol backbone to support the botanicals. But oddly, the flavor begins with a cleaner, porter-like flavor, deep and sweet with raisins, cinnamon and clove. Only then does it shift to the herbal flavors, and lavender most dominantly. The aftertaste is more alcoholic, once it has whittled away at the lavender note, and actually brings in something like whiskey aging, likely the oak of the fernet barrel. This is an experimental beer, but I think it is a winner, and another well justified withdrawal to afford the luxury line of O’Dell beers.

Bottle courtesy of Craig (shared with Craig, cheers mate!) had this at Cropredy 2016 I believe this bottle was consumed on Friday 12th August 2016 This pours reddy brown with a small head. Fruity with the cherries showing but not massively so, woody elements to this also, has a Belgian feel about it. Fruity, tangy and tart and quite good but no earth shaker. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

The palate is light to medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the dry softly bitter finish. Tasty easy drinking beer.
