digopossobon	3.9 Schmitt Barley Wine Nossa!!! Só de abrir, já saltaram aromas doces de iogurte, algum tipo de licor. Abrindo a garrafa deu pra ver mudanças físicas. Os sólidos e gases se difundindo violentamente pelo líquido. Algo bonito de se ver. Não apresentou nenhuma formação de espuma. Uma bela cor âmbar e opaca. Lembra melado grosso porém fluido. Alcoólica, forte, doce, frutas cítricas... Uma paulada! Seria muito bom ter um queijo forte, um roquefor, para acompanhar. O fundo lembra aqueles licores de cereja dentro de bombons de chocolate. No final, fica um gosto amargo persistente e seco. É uma experiência única. Recomendo veementemente. Acho que vale lembrar, já que é uma barley wine, que tomei uma cerveja com vencimento para 11 de maio de 2011, lote 15. Monday, September 22, 2014

digopossobon	3 Schmitt La Brunette Estava num dia de péssimo humor, e nem esta cerveja nem o péssimo atendimento que recebi no referido estabelecimento conseguiram melhorar meu dia. Cerveja com retrogosto doce, espuma com boa permanência e com a característica cor café. Líquido de cor opaca e de uma tonalidade escura de marrom. Aroma bastante característico, mas suave demais para o que eu esperava. A cerveja apresentou seu sabor amargo, com boa carbonatação. Saturday, November 2, 2013

Padilha	1.8 Schmitt La Brunette Cerveja transformista! O aroma estava muito bom nos primeiros momentos no copo, enquanto a creme inconsistente ainda estava formado. Foi só o creme descer e um aroma azedo cáustico é exalado, que interfere muito no sabor metálico, parecendo que rasga a garganta. O café mais ou menos equilibrado até que salva um pouco além da bela aparência, porém o custo-benifício não é válido. Não recomendo. Saturday, February 4, 2012

Pours coca-colaish tones of dark deep brown, with little cream formation. Watery and fluid, with some excessive acidity. The flavor brought the faint coffee, the faint malt and the higly misplaced sour fruited dominating the whole mouth. Don’t get me wrong, I would like that on a lambic, or on a fruit beer, but on a brown ale? A brown ale that calls it self a porter? Well, something went wrong. O sabor inicial é azedo (puxando pro vinagre) e levemente ácido, sensações que permanecem até o final (de média duração) e são agregadas de leve amargor. O paladar é composto de um corpo leve e aguado, altamente carbonatado e final de sensação chalky (com gosto de giz). Em termos gerais, parece ir mais para o lado das Lager para das Ale devido a seu corpo ralo. No entanto, o aroma e características azedas parecem não pertencer a nenhuma das famílias. Há excelente formação de colarinho em seu corpo claro e de coloração amarelo-médio. O aroma, frutado, apresenta forte semelhança com vinho branco e tem ainda notas de pêssego e abacaxi. O delicioso sabor, também semelhante ao de vinho branco, é levemente doce e amargo no início, apresentando moderado amargor no final, este de média duração. danielyabu	3.3 Schmitt Barley Wine das Barley Wine nacionais que já provei, essa é a segunda melhor, perdendo apenas para a Red Ale da Baden Baden. Sua espuma tem aparência inicial pomposa e irregular, de cor branca e boa longevidade. Há boa formação de colarinho e o corpo é opaco, de coloração âmbar. O aroma é moderadamente maltado, com notas cítricas de laranja, grama, vinho branco e álcool (principalmente no final), afinal, é um exemplar de 8,5% de teor alcoólico. O ótimo sabor apresenta moderado amargor, leve doçura e acidez no início, tornando-se fortemente amargo no final, este de longa duração. No paladar, a presença de um corpo médio, de textura seca, carbonatação borbulhante e final metálico, intenso, etílico, lembrando bebidas destiladas, como whisky e rum.
