rozsoma	3.2 Pfaffen Original Heumarkti söntés. Első este amikor betértünk, az összes kellner annyira gerej részeg volt, hogy felvette a rendelést és mire visszatért a kranzzal már foggalma se volt hogy ki mit mennyit mikor és random asztalokhoz csapkodta a poharakat és hívatta meg magát még egy körre a vendégsereggel. Jobbnak is láttuk továbbállni, hisz mi nem nagyon akarództuk sorra, se sörre kerülni. Aztán valamelyik nap tűző délelőttjén újra arra vettem az irányt, hátha nagyobb szerencsével járhatok, a hely alig mutat valami aktivitást mindkét oldalrol: vendégek sincsenek, akik meg mégis azokat előbb megpróbálják kinézni, és csak a legvégsőbb esetben a legkitartóbbaknak jár a jutalom. A malátalé nem rossz de nem is jó, de legalább hideg és friss. De a pohár legalább ötletes, a pfaffennel a dóm köré csavarodva. Monday, June 26, 2023

Milde aber aromatische herbale Hopfung, Kamille, Orangenschale. Durchschnittlich rezent. Im Abgang nur milde, leicht muffige Bittere. - Solide malziges, mild aber aromatisch gehopftes Bier, das Kölsch-typisch kaum obergärige Aromen aufweist. Aroma of herbal and zesty hop notes over pale biscuit malts and a lightly metallic yeast note. Taste follows, good balance of hops and malt, but a little heavy on the yeast, and kind of like its been sitting on it too long. FatPhil	2.9 Pfaffen Original Gravicask (Lommerzheim, Cologne) Nice fruity lager-like aroma. Fresh and refreshing. Gentle hop finish, a nice citrussy aspect and a gentle bite. Fullish palate, smooth. 2 of these went down very easily. Zlotta	3.4 Pfaffen Original A Kölsch - not really from Cologne though - for Weiberfastnacht: 0,33 l bottle from Biermuseum in Cologne, best before 2/2015. Minimally hazy, golden yellow with a touch of brown, fine-pored, creamy, stable, white head. Really nice and fresh citrusy aroma, detecting some lemon and white grapes with hints of honey. Interesting sweetish tase dominated by honey with some citrusy notes and green apple. Short, slightly bitter and pleasant finish. Thin to medium body but not watery, almost creamy mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Really nice surprise, doesn’t taste like any of the Kölsch I’ve had before.
