MaBeer1972	2.9 Klamath Basin Bare Island Blonde Ale Bottle labelled simply "Blonde", no Bare Island. Still 4.2%, so I assume it's the same one. Clear light golden color. Little to no head. 5000	3 Klamath Basin Dog Days Wheat IPA Bottle: Dark straw, moderate froty white head, spotty lacing. Dank nose, a little sweaty, slight overcooked vegetable (thankfully its minor), with a smidgen of hops and wheatiness on the nose. Better on the tongue, sweeter than the nose suggested, albeit hops are subdued. Feels a bit wheatish, but even that is light. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Clean finish, a little crisp, but too light on the wheatiness and too light on the hops. Very soft example, but still OK. Tuesday, June 26, 2018
andrewje41	3.8 Klamath Basin River Days Wheat IPA 22 oz bottle poured. To add to the style debate, I think this is more of an IPA than a wheat ale. Golden orange pour, bright, hazy. Patchy foam head. Subtle hops on the nose. Cream body, cool melon, wheat obvious, but a decent hop profile to sit on top. Cool wheat constant makes this a refreshing drink. Good flavor. Good balance. andrewje41	2.8 Klamath Basin Notch Eight IPA 22 oz bottle poured. A clean, darker orange pour. A ton of loose foam head. Piney, bitter impression hop aroma. Flavor is a sweet caramel malt, rich, bitter citrus hop underneath, and viciously metallic in the later palate. A bit out of balance for my taste. Too sweet. Too malty. Metallic notes are offputting.
