Rustic Rail Amber Ale
This was my favorite out of all the ales I tried here. It had a beautiful copper body and excellent retention in the head. a nice crisp clean finish followed by lots of aromas of wood, berries and licorice.

Rustic Rail Honey Ale
When this was poured as a sample for me, the head was big and it went down very sweet. I thought maybe it was just me and I ordered it anyway. But when it came back in a glass my first sips were again sweet and overly malted. There wasn’t a faintest bit of hops in the beer. and i was really dissapointed.

Rustic Rail Oatmeal Stout
Once the thick head settled, it settled into a chocolate coloured body, with a still pretty large vanilla coloured head. It had aromas of breakfast, cocoa and oatmeal. It wasn’t too sweet, and not too rich.

Rustic Rail Pale Ale
I thought this was a decent Miller style beer. I definately would not call this a mead in anyway, it had no sweetness, and lacked in honey flavor. but it had a nice bright golden body with a quickly dissipating head.

Rustic Rail Oatmeal Stout
I had this brew about 8 months ago and forgot to rate it. This brewhouse is now closed but felt this beer was worth rating. Taste was sweet and creamy with a coffee aftertaste. One thing I remember was that the beer was pretty good and the food sucked, probably why they are no longer open.

Rustic Rail Oatmeal Stout
One of Rustic Rail’s better brews. On tap only at the Brewhouse, this beer pours an almost opaque dark brown brew with a thick light tan head. Aroma of nutty caramel, a touch of coffee, some lactose and a touch of dark chocolate. Taste is smooth, creamy, with a slight metalic aftertaste. Finish is smooth, light and slight bitter.

Rustic Rail Honey Ale
On tap at the Rustic Rail Brewhouse, this beer pours a clear pale golden blonde brew with a light white head that dissolves quickly with no lacing. This actually has some scent. Light malt, faint hops, and a touch of clover honey. Taste is slightly carbonated, light bodied, with a slight white bread taste. Finish has some floweryh hops but slightly sweet.

Rustic Rail Golden Lager
On tap, only at the Rustic Rail Brewhouse, this beverage pours a golden pale blonde brew with a think, fast dissolving white head. Leaves behind a thin off-white ring and just barely any lacing. Aroma of sweet cereal grains and cooked vegetables and corn. Taste is lightly carbonated, softly crisp, smooth light bodied mouthfeel. The hop have just a very light spiciness and a sweet malty finish.

Rustic Rail Pale Ale
On tap at the Rustic Rail brewhouse, this beverage pours a clear, brownish-copper amber brew with a thin white head. Aroma of strong caramel and a faint flowery hop scent. Taste is lightly carbonated, bread doughy, and some caramel character. Medium bodied brew, this had a light bitterness and a touch of bread dough finish. Not as citrusy as most other pale ales but still quite drinkable.
