Did not see the word organic on the tin anymore. smells like a woody pilsner but a bit brighter, taste is likewise, a brighter more deciduous pils.

473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, orange, peach and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, pineapple, guava, earthy yeast and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium to full body with a thick, creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and well made.

Lots of rich citrus here. Comes off nicer than a lot of hazies I've had recently in western Canada. A little green onion but it's light. Hazy yellow pour with pretty good head retention, and good lacing. Clean finish with just a little hop tang. Can.

Nelson Clever Fox Apricot Saison
Hazy, pale, medium head. Sugar-coated apricots on the nose, and it's a bit yeasty. Yeasty on the palate, too, with some tartness. Sweaty. It comes across like the apricot is there to cover up a suboptimal saison. The apricot character is sweet-tart. I mean, I don't expect Turkish-level sweetness here, nor do I receive it. The whole production ends up okay.

Slight pink colour to the blonde. Hazy. Thin head. Has a saison yeast aroma and taste, with light malts, and a touch of cherry. So mostly dusty...like dupontish yeast but left a bit sweeter than that.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy magenta with a medium, creamy, long lasting, pink head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready pale malt, blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, vanilla and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, lactose, grapefruit, vanilla and floral hops in a dry, slightly tart finish. Medium to full body with a thick, creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Not the best beer ever brewed - EVER, but full of flavour and the ABV is well hidden.

Has very nice cloudy gold and good foam. Smells of an actually a well executed meld of refreshing guava with a trace of sweet coconut to round it out. Taste is coconut forward with tart sweet guava, ends with lingering coconut and also crisp. This is working extremely well, and I'm a guy who normally hates coconut.

Pours with very good foam on cloudy yellow, carbonation a little heavy. Smells of good fresh watermelon, bitter lager hops behind it and not totally cooperating. Taste is okay fruity hops, juicy, ends full and refreshing. It's working quite well for its intended purpose.

Can. Hazy, and the colour is a funny pale salmon thing. The aroma showcases the guava more than anything, I'd say, On the palate, light coconut, light tartness, and a bit of guava. Everything is fairly restrained, but not in a bad way (although I often like coconut to be unrestrained). I actually think this mellow bit of balance works. I don't think I"ve had this flavour combination before, either, which I appreciate.

Can. Clear pale gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas of toasted grain, exotic florals, apricot, and citrus. Light bodied with flavors of grainy malt, mild grapefruit and herbal hop notes, along with a hint of caramel. Slight mineral edge on the finish. Well balanced and thristquenching.

Vibrant amber, but there's slight haze. Thin head. Herbaceous hops, sweet and bright biscuity malts on the nose. Moderate bitterness, and lots of that biscuit sweetness, veering a bit towards caramel. Light fruitiness, a bit of a marmaladey note I associate with Fuller's yeast, although I think it's just the character of the hops. Dried apricots and those sorts of notes.

Nelson Fjord Hopper Kveik IPA
Can, from a random store in YLW. Dull yellow colour, with a frothy head. I like the nose on this quite a bit - a happy melange of pomelo, papaya and rambutan. Low bitterness, although it's enough for balance. The sweet malts come through quite clean, and then there's a touch of yeast in the finish but also a fair bit of orange. The balance is good, the muddy appearance not at all an indicator of the palate.

Very good foam, nice cloudy orange body, large carbonation bubbles. Strong sweet hops on the nose, pine, hints of clove. Flavour is good piney hops, mellow malt notes. Mouthfeel is a little too watery, could use more oiliness and crispness. Still rather enjoyable.

Nelson Night Lights Tropical IPA
Good foam on a clear yellow body, soft sweet fruity hops on the nose that really should be stronger. Flavour is some sweet hops, some bitter hops, but it all comes across rather boozy. Oily mouthfeel and that alcohol lingers, odd for only six and a half percent. Seems disjointed, needs more attention to detail.

Nelson Spruce Tip Ale
Nice foam on a weak clear coppery body, lots of lemon and lime on the nose... maybe that's the spruce tip, but it doesn't smell right, more like Mountain Dew than anything else. Flavour is lots of grain, some lemon, slight grass maybe if I think about it real hard. Finish is nicely dry. Seems to underdeliver what's advertised.

The aroma is soft honey with vague grai, has cloudy gold and kind of a bad tinny foam going on. Flavour is all sugary malt and tin. Mouthfeel is more cloying tin, bad carbonation, at least they served it to me cold. This is incredibly mediocre.
