(Bottle, 0.33 l, thanks Rauchmalz, at VastActiv, 20240112) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, vegetables and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and acrid. Unpleasant.

Pleasant weet fruity aroma, lots of apples. Palate is thin and sweet, a bit fizzy. Quite a bit of alcohol in the taste. Slightly harsh cider, but still drinkable

fruity, sweet, plenty of apples. Nice sharpness. Plenty of sweet apple juice. Carbonation cuts through that. Finish apple juicy, but brief. Perfectly drinkable, but a bit sugary and fizzy.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Very pale clear yellow. Honey, white pepper and apple peels up front. Sweet and intense with full body and soft, somewhat viscous mouthfeel. Evident peppery alcohol. The sweetness is some extent balancced by apple acidity. Peppery finish with distinct apple skin bitterness. Very concentrated and intense.

350 ml bottle @ PBF IX. Pours a clear pale yellow colour without a head. Aroma of rich red apples, some solvent and leather. Flavour of alcohol, red apples, sugar, sugar and more sugar. Some mild sourness. Light bodied and a warming alcohol finish with some sugar. Horrible balance and way, way too sugary. Congratulations, you now have diabeetus.

Aroma has strong and ripe apples. Flavour has lots of alcohol, strong apple notes - feels like apple juice extract. Also some apple peel and slight sugary tones. Too boozy – the booze actually stings my tongue. Not as good as Pinnacle’s Ice Cider, but better than I expected, I must say.

Rather pale appearance. Aroma has slightly floury apples and cinnamon. Flavour has tart and slightly floury apples. Finishes with hints of spices and some cinnamon. Feels slightly acidic. Becomes rather sticky at the end of the glass. More intensive and better than Liereä. One can really tell the punakaneli apples from here.

Bottle, 33 cl, at Papsø’s. Very nicely designed label, but a very uncool, extremely pale color with a small head. Almost perfumery aroma of green aplles, reminding me of the shampoo everybody used in the 70’es. Taste is better, fruity, rather dry, light tart with an almost woody finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours almost crystal clear with a tint of green. Tart apple aroma with a touch of vanilla. Light body, an initial light sweetness but the dry and slightly tart apple accents soon take over. Decently drinkable. 210113

Draught at Black Door, Helsinki. Sparkling and almost colorless apperance with a golden hue. Sweetish pear aroma. The taste is surprisingly rich after such a pale color and mild aroma. The flavor is vinous and sweet with notes of apple, pear and some fruity twist which is hard to describe. This cider is made in very small quatities from a finnish apple cultivar Lepaan Liereä.
