Flavour of alcohol, red apples, sugar, sugar and more sugar. Some mild sourness. Light bodied and a warming alcohol finish with some sugar. Horrible balance and way, way too sugary. Dry apple, mild sweetness, some apple skin bitterness and mild apple wine elements in the aroma. The flavour is apple wine, dry apple and mild alcohol. Not bad but quite ordinary. laiti	2.9 Lepaan Punakaneli 33 cl bottle @ Naamat Rather pale appearance. Aroma has slightly floury apples and cinnamon. Flavour has tart and slightly floury apples. Finishes with hints of spices and some cinnamon. Feels slightly acidic. Becomes rather sticky at the end of the glass. More intensive and better than Liereä. Miksu	2.5 Lepaan Liereä Draught at Black Door, Helsinki. Sparkling and almost colorless apperance with a golden hue. Sweetish pear aroma. The taste is surprisingly rich after such a pale color and mild aroma. The flavor is vinous and sweet with notes of apple, pear and some fruity twist which is hard to describe. This cider is made in very small quatities from a finnish apple cultivar Lepaan Liereä. Sunday, February 24, 2008
